So those units of Block B, C and D facing the pool/forest will have view of the tower...quite a dampener as far as view is concerned. Actually if one's unit is over the hill, there is another tower tip at the other side of the hill...

I have seen someone put up a map that shows the tower falls within the area of DF. does it mean that it is within the current land title? Did Celcom lease the site from L&G? Perpetual lease or term lease?

Thanks for the picture reference. It's very useful. What I worried is the view. I'm sure from my block D unit. Sure can see this tower blocking the Damansara Perdana view darn it.

Added on May 5, 2012, 4:29 pmJust a guesstimate only. I do not think block B will see it because it will be blocked by Block A. Remember eventually any tower of Foresta will be taller than the top of the mountain. The second tower is not that bad as its shorter and further away from Foresta.

Actually my guesstimate of the tower location is also based on the google map which is adjacent to the entry (bridge over NKVE) to Foresta/Rustica condo from rest of BSD. I might be wrong

Had an interesting analysis of the pricing.

Booked a Block B drop out unit. The price was 3.1% marked up higher than the preview price!

The best part is the same unit same size at Block D is 11.8% higher as compared to the preview price!!

Really wondering how Block C will be price at. SA saying that Block C has direct view of the forest and furtherst away from the tower and hecnce justifying the highest price of all!!! L&G said public launch will be involving Block D and C...wondering when this will happen??

No problem. No point comparing now since the unit has been purchased - just hope for the best after VP. Anyway, your unit is still way cheaper than block D
No idea on the sales launch for block C and the owner of the land at the tower location. I read from the other forum, block D is almost sold out.
I wish the tower will be shifted elsewhere since future Foresta blocks will be partially blocking it.

Since some of you all concern about the exact location of the Foresta Damansara and the tower location, i have attached here my drawing based on the google map, Foresta Damansara video, and north-south orientation. Not sure how accurate is that, but hope that can clear some of your doubts.



All the time i thought the tower belong to Damansara Perdana since it is quite near to the Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal's house (Chairman of MK Land Bhd).

Have one unit at Block B to let go at old price.

Saw exhibition booth of Rimba Residence at I-Property Exhibition. Also forest concept with low dense (238 units) at Bandar Kinrara next to Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve. A lot of interest shown on several forum.

Is forest concept now a picking up trend?

Also read in another forum that there could be changes to DF master plan for future phases. How true? Positive?

Yes, it will be next to Flora Damansara. If you check the Wikimapia map, it will be surrounding the Opo Lake...

It is after the Penchala toll.
I called Henry Butcher and apparently the entrance will be from Damansara Perdana side and not BSD.
Semi-D and Bungalow at the moment.

After the toll if coming from Kepong... lol
