When the leaders are idiots, and the future leaders are handpicked from the pool of idiots' offspring, the vicious cycle repeats itself. You look at other countries their leaders are from top universities like Harvard, Cambridge etc. While we have ministers that are only Form 5 graduates, or have questionable degrees. Actually, don't need to look at their education level because normal IQ ppl can't possible come up with EBN RFID, or 'tiap tiap bulan bocor' remarks and think it is actually right.

David Cameron (UK) - Oxford
Obama (USA) - Harvard
Najib (Mal) - University of Nottingham
Bung Mokhtar (Mal) - Buxton University

Bung Mokhtar obtained his business diploma from Buxton University, United Kingdom and his Master’s degree in security analysis from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Buxton University is an unaccredited vendor of distance education that uses a postal address in the United Kingdom.
Just some examples. doh.gif

Prices drop rm200...imagine that!!!....now less than 2k..

While everyone shouting complaining to stop RFID, officer is rushing to china to sign agreement to push it before too late...it is final. The end.

Maybe we can ask our farm shifting specialist to move our farm to Thailand?. Then we might have some little hopes.

Added on May 28, 2012, 7:16 pmMany farmers are dumbing their stocks...this make the situation worst...can't blame them..they need it to survive...look around the market..it is drop dead..look at the shopping centres...all mostly window shopping...only eating place still got some buz...n that too they have to cut prices to survive.....

It is getting worst n the leaders don't care much except worry their stay in power will be very short n trying to walup anything they can grab....sad...very sad indeed.

I don't know elsewhere but here, there are buyers and just yesterday, a buyer came and bought EBN @ Rm2300 for AB. It's still too low but what to do as many need the cash to survive and the Gmen is still besok lusa..

Corner are at RM1500 but most do not have corners unlike me with 30% corners and no round ones. My corners, I rather keep to process them myself @ Rm5K per kilo. 100% pure and hand picked by West Wing. Just boil and eat and 100% assurance on health safety or 10X refund.

Very sad and we can't just wait and buyers told me that they underwater to China. If they can so the price still OK and market still there but what's the use as we are now at the mercy of the buyers which will push the price lower and lower as long as the market for China is still close to Malaysian.

Good price. I will let go mine if offer this price but maybe the buyer saw my few hundreds grams so not interested...soap....its not easy to accumulate few hundred grams of bn...it takes 5 harvest just to collect 50 nests n that is a lot already....soap...n that is three months of waiting...soap....n 50 times climbing up n down ladder to collect it n risking our life as anything can happen during the climbing up n down..soap..one step mistake,we will fall down n hit our head....soap...

Soap....no more mood to talk abt bn anymore....soap.

See, satu belumlah berlesai, lagi satu Sudah timbul....

"premis perniagaan tidak dibenarkan" with this statement, billions or trillions of ringgit will be lose and many will go bankrupt or very poor if they enforce them.

So, before the fire spread to your area, clear them before they clear you out............get the local association to ensure your BH safety first and if can't then change the sky and paint it into other color..............before they change it RED with fire.

We don't have much time as election is very near and we still have little time. We do have the bargaining power as our vote still very valuable much more than EBN but after the election, we only have SHIT. Sad to see if my birds all die and honestly, not for the money only.

If the government wishes, we can buy up the whole BH area and convert it to only BH sanctuary and with the money from selling off other unused buildings, the authorities can built a new proper plan town just for human if needed........ after all, when an area is populated with swiftlet, it has become a core for swiftlets and these swiftlets will remain there forever unless we killed them all.

Last month a senior player said it will take at least three years to recover....after cny, we will know if it really take 3 or more years to recover....cross fingers n toes...

We are facing bleak future with more competitors joining in from Vietnam n Cambodia n we face both opposition n leading govt still thinking that by letting us continue to keep birds in shops is no no...n we have opportunists still want to monopoly the whole market....guess we are really deep throut in deep shits as always..never seen such bad scenario ever...it's been what? 10 months??

The trend now most only dare to buy nests that still have some feather on it instead of buying pure white featherless nests as it means to them the nests are original n they don't mind picking the feathers before cooking...that's tell u exactly how consumers are thinking abt bn.

Thanks Bro for your concerns and regards,

I wonder if our GMEN is treating our imports the same as our export of EBN and if so, we are in good hand and live to 100.
Must admit that these days of taking EBN daily, my friend told me that I don[t grow a day older since 10 years ago, hahahahahhaa

All imported food esp. China must be safe to consume and all should have the requirements and certifications. If so, I think that 90% of food imported from Asia countries are ban from importing....even the canned food from China. That's what I think unless someone here think otherwise.

Well. we expected the decline of consumers buying EBN and it will take some time to normalize but we cannot export, where and when and worse that now we can no longer export unprocessed nests due the 30%N requirement. Don't worry as Dr. Mat has said that Malayu cepat lupa, well, China lampat lupa tetapi akan lupa juga dan akan makan sarang burung walit seperti biasa.

I must lock up m BHs for afew years and wait until the sky turn clear again by then, maybe my BHs may have many times the amount of nests; although most will be at least 6 ins. high and the shit 8 ins. deep.

Hi I am new to this forum too. Having read the comments for over a year, can you bros here give suggestions as to what is the best course of action we need to survive this bn nuclear winter? The person which dropped the bomb is starting making millions out of this disaster. We as farmers are just like cheap labourers to them. The road of prosperity for all has been blocked off and now only reserved for a few connected fellows to go through. Dear all bn veterans here, any collective action can we take to break this deadlock? Or we can only wait and see.

Srry for the less detailed, the LMB is at the 2nd pic water part, 6ft*7ft box and the RED stairs(6.5ft) act as the LAL.

I know im will be diao99 by everyone, but im willing to accept it. Its my fault for not gaining more knowledge before my bh is build.

Very sorry and really appreciated that u spend ur time on this aeiou :-D

I'm no sifu, but my gut feeling tells me that birds don't like hindrances and obstacles in their flying path. If I were you, I prefer no partition or 2.5' hanging partition from the ceiling for colony segregation purposes.

As for the Pond on the roof, if the purpose is to attract birds or act as a heat insulation shield, my opinion is that it is too much a hassle. No water leaking problem yet ??

I've seen enough BH with dried roof top or internal ponds. The owners gave it up after a while. Reasons being water leaking problem, hassle of maintenance, mosquitoes breeding ( I doubt fish can survive in such harsh water and environment) etc etc.
Regular roof top visits for pond maintenance work will disturb the birds in the BH.
Last but not least, No pond for BH license.

As for the partition, I like the idea of birds fly freely in the nesting room as if flying in a small cave. Minimum obstacles.
