How much you sold? No hair one very expensive

What is the current price for uncleaned Birdnest (AB)now? Are there buyers on this forum? I have only a few kg which i am interested to sell. Any contacts would be appreciated.

My dad got a birdhouse wanted to sell come with land, anybody interested?

Location: Pahang, kuala lipis (famous for swiflet, in the middle of palm oil estate)

Land: 1 acre plus

Building: 3 stories

Utilities: Water and Electricity

Revamp: Just done 3 weeks ago by very well know consultant "Pak Harry", previously 100+ existing nests. The revamp is quite major, now set to go with all new with 6 cctv, all new wiring, etc.

Reason: Old age and im not interested to take over very dirty job.

Price: Around RM800k (Nego, if you ok with the bird shits all those)

First time posting here.
Found this discussion page few months ago. Read many useful tips here regarding birdnest farming and also thank you for some members who willing to share the price info from time to time.

I am helping my elders in the family to sell a birdnest shop in Johor Bahru.
Details as below:
Address: 9 Jalan Salam Off, Jalan Larkin, Kg Kebun Teh, Johor Bahru [near to Malaysia/Singapore custom border]

Building: Freehold, Non bumi lot; 3 stories shop with attic office above lower ground
Condition:
1) Lower ground is tenanted, with steady income (about RM2k).
2) Attic office is not occupied and can be used as office or store room.
3) Upper ground is used for birdnest farming. Currently got around 60+nests. Sorry to say no renovation/maintenance for some time.
Price: RM700k

Need not as many sites never give best orice or rather actual honest qoutes. Your fellow birdhouse owners are the most reliable source as they have no reason to lie on the price.

I can only tell you this that the last selling price at my place was Rm3900/kg AB and Rm3300 corner 4 days ago but the price will be up in the coming weeks and best price more than 1 month before 15th. Of the 8 month in the Chinese Calender .

So, don't sell low, sell at reasonable prive and all be well. The future of the EBN's price depend on how you sell now as if you sell too low, the next round price cannot go up. This is simple common sense if you still dont understand, treat me coffee and I shall gladly explain over a free coffee plus roti bakar n if good, appreciate with extra 2 eggs.😂😂😂😂

The best advice is for you to mix around with other BH owners around your area and they shall be your best friends to give you a fair qoute on you RBN. Others sources, 50% T /50%Fake news like Trump says. Make friends n share for mutual better future. All for One and One for All for Fa Cai everyone.

Dont build one, buy one to save the industry as there are too many Birdhouses with too little new fledged birds to share as too many greedy BH ownners now who care not the future but see only profit now; myopic I say! Create more breeders to share new hatchlings to spread more new birds ; a win win parnership between farmers and also Men n Swiftlets.

BHs at estates have better gain of birds but shall lose most to predators and thieves. Town ones, too many harversters n birds migrate.

Ab rm3700-3950, then deduct rm300 for each grade until lumut rm2600-2700.

After prices going up over a year ago. Very less people willing to breed. It is about how fast you harvest now. Cant blame them really. If full breed, can only harvest 3-4 times a year. And cream and yellow color nest, buyer start lowball and quotation price is based on more white color nests.

last 4 months I didnt harvest. is that considered breeding ?

then again, my nest count also not many

Sir, what you mean is white one with less feather right?

Nests in my hometown (middle perak) always milky yellow or grey as less raining, and middle to heavy feather, the AB price is usually 3.2+, triangle always less than 3...

I just sold my 2kg birdnest around rm4k per kg lump sum..
My birdhouse is in Sarawak..
Haha..that why i need to know the current price before i sell nest out...
If we wan to protect the price..you should create 1 social media group for us farmer so we can know the latest price before we sell it out..

4K Lump sum? Your nests must be whiter than white. How you maintain this kind of standard, Sifu?

Just a normal mantainence oo..we usually harvest the nest once per month...and with cleaning and throwing bird poo..nthg special..and we also put few big bucket of water inside the birdhouse..

Btw..after we harvest the nest we usually put into the fridge..the temperature is not too low..just nice..heard from the buyer if the nest is store at normal room temperature the colour will bcome yellowish?..

I think the buyer willing to pay higher (RM4K above) to nests in kelantan, terangganu, pahang and sabah & sarawak; other states' nests (usually grey-ish or yellow ) due to natural environment, weather condition,etc, they will not pay such high price.
