QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Nov 26 2011, 09:18 PM) beware of the zoom ring issue. Wide angles are Nikon's strong point, not surprising if its the best 24mm around. But it somehow the 24mm still isn't as sharp as the 35mm... well I could go for 35mm instead of 24mm anytime ;-). Not to mention cheaper!it will become stiff after sometimes. QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Nov 26 2011, 11:23 PM) yes for wide angle zoom, no for wide angle primes. I wonder how true this statement was, Nikon had many great wide angle primes lens even before the 24mm. eg. the 13mm f/5.6, one of the best out there.canon wide angle primes have been superior for a long time. nikon is catching up now. ![]() |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 26 2011, 07:57 AM) Totally agree, I would expect this is the trend to prepare for the pro photogs for Olympics next year. D800 for Olympics? ._. Yeah, suppose to be so. In addition, Canon has announced their next flagship model which interested even their own users who's having problem with 5D Mark II limitation QUOTE(Agito666 @ Nov 26 2011, 10:03 AM) haha just random shoot only indoor yesterday, at night. I just played with Cintiq 24HD, RM12,000.00 i use graphire, older one. in office use intuos 4 maybe nikon got plan release d800 firt then releae d4 later so d4 will be powerful that d800... not like d3 and d700 |

Previously when 1Dmk4 was announced it got my friend excited, when available to market he instantly bought it. But his comment was the AF wasn't as good as his 7D lol. Now I'm wondering how the 1DX performs, the spec looks very impressive on paper definitely.I just played with Cintiq 24HD, RM12,000.00 |

QUOTE(Str33tBoY @ Nov 27 2011, 10:41 AM) I was told its about RM6300, previously was RM6000. But another factor for it to raise is because of SB900 price drop.Back then package given by Nikon Msia to retailers was, D700 + SB900 --> RM6000 + RM1500 (for example..), and now due to price drop from SB900, D700 + SB900 --> RM6300 + RM1300 or something. |
