Some of the Nikkor old lenses is really good. Like the 200mm Prime f/4

This is the added advantage of RAW, even if you shoot at fixed WB indoors especially with fluorescent lighting will change the hue. Unless you kill ambient light and use flash as main light source.

Hmm... DSLR as a form of investing eh?

I doubt I consider mine investing. Since I only shoot still lives photography with my so-so camera and I am happy with it. I don't really think highly of my photos though. Tend to think that it sucks.

btw, taking in RAW does wonders. There's no such thing as taking Jpeg in Hasselblad...

The reasons why I shoot RAW:

1) Can't be damned to adjust WB when it requires you shoot many shots at a short time interval at an event which has a lot of lighting in different colours

2) My camera forced me to.

A better camera gives all the aid to user to take better picture,
its up to user to take good or lousy one

Camera like Sony Alpha actually have all their buttons on the camera body to adjust everything which I find very useful.

Kind of saving time in fast moving event. D3 however, is already good enough since all the buttons are already there lol
