QUOTE(0168257061 @ Nov 26 2011, 12:18 PM) Good that you start to do strobe. Strobes are much more to learn And much harder to be copied ;-) everyone shoots the same thing now, but strobes not that common yet keke or at least good ones! My inspiration, Zeckson... ahh love the way he uses his flash. The lagi geng photogs no need say la haha~ But oh well, not possible to bring strobes for events or rather I don't dare ._. Girls love this kinda shot because it makes them look slim ._. Yomiko, Ford Roadshow at Aeon Jusco by CY Pixels, on Flickr

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 26 2011, 11:34 AM) I compared the 24mm versus the 35mm on MTF, the 35mm sharper! (not to mention cheaper ) 35mm is closer to 85mm than the 24mm is... sharper one thing. but the subject isolation that 24mm gives... This post has been edited by Everdying: Nov 26 2011, 03:39 PM

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 26 2011, 03:55 PM) What makes you think 35 f/1.4 don't give subject isolation? o_O almost the same. but i guess for the same fov, 24mm of cos u go closer to subject to get same fov...so bokeh alittle different...somehow it gives even more of a 3d popping effect.

The moment need to close in.. things becomes a little more tricky with portraiture... cause of wide angle perspective >_<
