i'm actually thinking to get new hyundai elantra..to be launched next month..price 100k..

but when i think back, i better get myvi se 1.5. the savings i can use to buy house also...

this myvi aint bad..im very surprised when i entered the car at the showroom...never thought it was very spacious..and the 1.5 packs with many features..the 2nd hand value sure very good like the old one..

yeah,thats why i am considering this car also..the savings from buying elantra i can use to fund my house purchasing also

i use myvi elegance 1.3 manual. why the gear gt abit keras ah? hard to change gear ler.. -.-

actually myvi resale value good is because of high demand towards this car.. thats why resale value good..

what if this is vice versa.. a Hyundai around 70k and selling as hot as a vios.. sure resale value good wan.. all of this is problem with people wan mindset.. hahah...

no doubt Elantra should be a steal buy.. haha.. but still Myvi price is getting higher n higher.. cant say cheap nor expensive.. but still higher than average.. how i wish myvi could be as stable as a saga or waja.. but this is wrong comparison anyway.. haha.. hatchback n sedan.. kekekke..

My car very weird one... 1st bar will deplete after around 150km(hahah, i oweys fill up til the brim), 2nd bar 60-70km, 3rd bar 80-90, third bar around 50-60km, n then after half tank, it deplete very fast around 40-50 each bar...

nah i'm not gonna do that, coz i already hav a normal garmin and the normal HU as well, so if i change the whole HU will be a waste. so just looking for a way to ass garmin or papgo software in it

EDIT: about the GPS - not having problems with my stock maps so far; the locations included are pretty accurate. only once it failed me by directing me into a place that no longer existed.

however, i must say that sometimes the destination that i want is not in the map. so back to google maps, haha!

actually, i also can afford a car with installment of 1.2k-1.5k per month, 1/3 of my salary.. but i think better get a cheaper car like Myvi or Saga FLX, then use the money for other investment.. so now i also look at Myvi 1.5se and 1.6flx.. dunno which should i get..

Minimum of 1000km or 1600km(1000miles)... This need to follow manual.. But have option of hard break-in, i did this on my bike, n now my bike drinks much more fuel compared with the same bike but with manual's recommendation on break-in.. N a bit better performance acceleratn n top speed... But, back to ur question, it will always perform better once past around 3000km...

yeah.. cheaper by abit But flx is sedan la haha.. proton screw themselves up on their brand QC.. it isnt reliability problem la.. just that they let too many faulty parts pass.. Maybe their QC is sleeping most of the time lol.. gonna test drive both of them to see which i prefer lo..

although saga gt CVT d, bt stil d QC prob rly make ppl cnt rly rely on them ==

Yup.. myvi interior is way better than saga.. saga dashboard is just too meh.. so as the steering lol

Don't be too skeptical... Proton buyer will say Perodua handling sucks, and Perodua will say Proton quality sucks... So? If you ever drove just a simple Saga BLM, which I am sure many of you did before, you realize that the Saga handles way way x100 better than a Myvi... But on the other hand, the FC is not that good...


For me, I will go for handling and safety... There is no compromise in that...

Myvi, I need to spend money to make it handles well etc etc

Saga, I need to spend money to make the interior better etc etc

i already updated the maps, but when i compare it to my garmin, i can see a lot of differences, like this one doesn't have so many places, or the direction really sucks ! i tried the same route on my garmin and it was 4km less than the one showing on my HU
