When you are shifting from P to R, make sure that you step on the brake paddle fully. Ensure that it is in R before you move the car. If all still persist, complain to SC on your next service

No performance diff. for myvi..it's about the same... Don't waste ur money on Ron97...It can be mix...no harm
*
no offense bro, but there is indeed performance difference, especially if u use vpower 97.... ron95 gives less responsive engine, with more engine knocking... vpower gives very good pick up, much less knocking.. those who loves their car alot, and are very particular, will feel the difference as soon as they get out of the petrol station with ron97 wink.gif

at least makes me feel much better now, lol
and regarding the auto gearbox, sometimes i duno whether its i didn't press the button fully or what, when i shift the gear from P to R, the gb will have sound like as if i didn't step on clutch like that
*
Well regarding the GB sound, I've seen quite a few comments saying that when you shift the gearbox , you would hear a rough sound. So yea, Shouldn't be a problem I guess. Even my car has the sound when shifting from P to R. I guess it's normal for Myvi then? blink.gif

Added on December 25, 2011, 12:41 pmGuys i have a question,
i'm not from malaysia so i rely on my GPS a lot, but the default maps on the player unit are seriously useless, i've been lost many times bcoz of that.
is there any way i can change the maps in my player to something better like Garmin or Papago ? can i change the SD card or something ?
thanks in advance smile.gif

I think there are a few Banks such as CIMB, RHB, Alliance,HSBC which will convert any of ur transaction(RM1k above) to ez payment. I did mine with RHB and converted to 6mths installment plan with 0%. It is best to call and enquire from your
banker on installment plan. I hope I've answered your Q's.

There isn't a difference. It's simple engineering.

What was the Myvi designed to run on? RON95. That means it doesn't matter what octane you pump, as long as it meets the RON95 requirement, it will perform as designed.

Pumping V-Power won't give you ANY performance benefits whatsoever, since the engine was not designed to handle it. The "benefits" you named are nothing more than psychological.

Increasing octane just means that the fuel requires a higher compression to detonate. The engine has a fixed compression designed to handle RON95, so increasing the octane does nothing.

So save yourself some money at the pump next time, bro.
