i viewed advanti rims and seems lik majority offsets r 40, so is 40 ok? as i saw from previous threads said dat have to be more thn 41 to avoid scratching
*
My advanti storm 15" offset is 38... Pair with 195/55/15 no fender scratching problem bro... Myvi should be ok with offset range from 38 to 42mm...

p/s; will post new picture again soon, now my myvi lik those rally car alredy stain n mud every where...

If u change the SRS settings then ur EQ bass and treble will reset. I would suggest u not to change any of the SRS settings because it sounded like shit for me.

I max out my bass and a lil bit of treble in my EQ settings.

How's your fuel consumption? my average is about 9.6km/litre which is totally shit. I pumped full tank last 3 days which cost about RM60 and the range showed I could only run around 300km. I m not sure if theres something wrong with the indicator but i was shocked.
*
Bro, what's ur mileage..??? New car usually will have higher fuel consumption.. After few k km i think it should improves... My myvi before 1st servicing FC around 12km/l, now can achieve mid 14km/l or high 14km/l average... This is not based on what's on the dash, this is actual calculation based on tank full of fuel-mileage traveled-refuel full tank of fuel again... Trip computer always shows optimistic, always around 16km/l, n sometimes going downhill showing 30km/l...??? rclxub.gif (bukit lanjan highway going from kl towards damansara utama... laugh.gif

Anyone been to park royal carpark?last time i go carpark from main door,i touch my ride skirting make me so pissed off thats why i sell off...
*
Yes Bro, it's lowered n i havnt scratch anyting... I went on to OU's, Pyramis'd, Jusco Seremban 2's, and Mid Valley's ramp towards basement n rooftops without any problem.. 2 upfront me n my fiance +/- 130kg + another +/- 130kg passenger at the back also ok... But do go climb those ramp a bit careful lar bro.. Dont go attack like too fast too furious one... icon_rolleyes.gif

Furthurmore u r on 17", i think ground clearance gona be a bit higher than mine..
Last time u r on what springs...?? I think GAB is not that low...

nice ride u have  rclxms.gif  btw chasis foaming gt wad use? decrease noise from outside?
*
Thanks Bro... Chassis foam from Kevin, really nice guy... Go there n borak2 with him, very satisfied with the foaming and price offered... After 3-4 days, can really tell the difference... Foaming is meant for increased chassis rigidity a bit like those struts, fender n lower bracing bar, but with added a bit off noise reducing... Rigid chassis equal to increased stability and handling.. Can go 160-170kmh one handed on the steering wheel...

last time when 14",yup used gab,so means now 17"will different with 14"?what mean? Not sure, isit become higher to the ground but gap between tyre and fender closer?
rclxub.gif
*
Because 17" overall diameter is more than the 14" overall diameter Bro.. So, when u pair lowering springs with ur new 17", ul have higher ground clearance hence can lepas ramp without scratching...

currently... the retrofit wan got many types.. i mean the color... not cheap ! XD

projector is good when u wan all the lights to focus only at 1 beam.. and this is good because when u install HID, u wont blind the oncoming ppl...

if u install HID to normal reflector type lamp casing.. the light will reflect and bounce like there's no tomorrow.. biggrin.gif causing blindness to oncoming ppl..

example old myvi and vios.. both got superb lamp reflectors.. usually this 2 cars is the main cause of blindness... biggrin.gif
*
Owh, tq soo much Bro.. Very short and ez to understand xplanation...

so if you use projector with hid,jpj polis wont kacau??
Is that true that old myvi normal headlamp the reflect angle is something that higher than other cars?
*
Try let viva follow ur back, sure u feel like wanna slam the brake one... Viva headlight like crazy blinding people one... Both my sisters drives viva, everytime convoy, for sure to tell her to lead the convoy... Saket hati those headlight...

But i think theres way to adjust the angle of the headlights.. Maybe lower it a bit will reduces the blinding effect... My bike have headlight angle adjustment, if car dont have, then it's a bit weird..

so far as i know you dont get trouble from road bloack and jpj. well you see those camry / accord / BMW etc etc also using projector headlamp so far so goof
*
The HID and projectors are a good piece of technology.. But, when u go rojak n mix HID with reflectors type then the problem rises... I think if it's OEM like those high end cars, its works great.. But, rojak type, sure JPJ saman one

got.. car wan can adjust.. if i not wrong... can adjust the distance the lights far apart.. like :

[left - right]  and [up - down]

i used to adjust my car wan height.. stock height for LB myvi is very high.. i adjust lower a bit..

but make sure u adjust the correct one.. if not u adjust the one making it left - right instead of up - down.. biggrin.gif

and yeah.. viva wan damn bright.. !! the reflector power arr...
when adjusting time.. find a place with a wall.. and put ur car at least 5-10 meters away from the wall before adjusting.. then u can estimate how high or low it should be...
*
Bro, any DIY pic...??

Throw in open pod intake, free flowing exhaust from manifold till the muffler, n also e-manage... Can easily get around 10-15hp... Budget....?? Around 3k including tuning.. Hehehe tongue.gif

Mine 9.8km/l 1.5 Auto. It really bothers me. Pumped RM 60 can only run 330km T_T. Is there anything wrong?
*
Yess, something is wrong... Ur right foot too heavy... thumbup.gif Hehehe, myvi small engine maa, so very little torque, n need higher rev for power, n theres the reason ur mazda 2.0 can have lower FC when driven both the same driving style... Higher displacement car hav higher torque figure, so need very little throtle opening to move/speed up the car to the desired speed compared with one with small displacement n little torque... Small cc car peak torque very high in the rpm range sumore, 1.3 around 117nm at 4400rpm and the 1.5 is at 136nm at 4400rpm... Whilst the mazda 2.0 maybe achieve the same amount of torque at 2.5rmp only... So need little throtle only... icon_rolleyes.gif

i think the reading on the meter is bullshit also wan.. build for eye pleasure only...
*
Sure lar Bro... When i go downhill at plus highway, from bukit lenjan to damansara utama with my sister, very little throthle, the trip computer shows 30km/l... Hehehe... Even better than my sister's prius... I laugh at her like ur "ur car soo damn expensive n high tech, but my myvi which cost quater of ur car can get 30km/l..." She was like confused so much n tout the trip is right, n then says next time gonna get myvi also... Hehehe... Verrf funny lar..

this is for those who wants to adjust their light beam height and horizontal position.. =) enjoice.. biggrin.gif  thumbup.gif

oh ya.. tips when u adjust it.. u must take the situation into consideration when u got fetch ppl or when u always a loner driving at night.. because.. when u adjust it ngam2.. then u fetch passenger behind.. ur car tends to berat belakang.. making ur car front rose up.. and that will make ur light beam straight beam to oncoming ppl's eye.. biggrin.gif

unless ur a loner... then u adjust the height that can tembak 3-4 cars ahead.. that wan ngam2 ade.. biggrin.gif  laugh.gif
