Mind you that Astro SD channels quality are FAR FAR FAR more better than Truevision Thailand... Sometime I feel 'bersyukur' when I compared between Astro and Truevision Picture quality... Their HD Channels also not so good in quality...
I've been watched Truevision and FYI, watching their SD channels (especially HBO and their in house channel) are like watching the Youtube video streaming, just truevision one are a bit better... The picture quality are a bit grainy and not as sharp when compared to Astro....

Same version but Astro FMP is delayed by one hour so that they can put censoring and such

I don't think the information itself from the lyngsat is accurate enough. I thought all assthrow HD channels are in VH frequency which should above 12 GHz, but the above shows the frequency is 11.682 GHz where it should be VL frequency (their SD channels)

Yes.. you're right... All of the HD channels are transmitted from Measat 3A and the Transponder that carried it are starting from 12000GHz and above.. Lyngsat information are not so reliable nowadays... I've no idea what happen to the satcodx.com?

yeah... for my experiance, MP (media prima) channel is overcompress . sometimes can see when buletin utama is on air, can see pixel here and there..
but for RTM, really clear picture . TV ALHIJRAh is sometimes clear, sometimes not..

Almost blocking pixel, but barely watchable.

Selfnote: remind myself to buy better phone camera than old N70 currently in use.

Seankks, if I'm not mistaken, the reason it's not working is because the number your trying is wrong, this should work 9 9 7 instead of 9 7 7.

Here you go:

Broadacasters like FOX (FOX HD, STAR WORLD HD, FMP HD), Discovery, AXN etc. transmitting at -

HD: 10-12 mbps
SD: 3 Mbps

Operators Side (cable, DTH, IPTV) needs to turn-around/retransmit them at:
HD: at least 10 Mbps
SD: at least 3 Mbps

Side note, IPTV provider, mio TV's bitrate:

HD: 10-12 Mbps
SD: no info

No info on Starhub's bitrate.

I'll post 2 astro channels transmitting on mio TV for reference shortly.

Is it just me, or KIX HD doesn't provide Cantonese audio, instead of Mandarin dubbed?

In SIN, due to the ridiculous 'Speak Mandarin Campaign', only one 12 hours Chinese dialect is allowed for each Pay TV operator:

Starhub - 12 hrs TVBJ/12hrs CCTV-4 [1 channel]
mio TV - Singtel Jali channel [24 hrs ch but only 12 hrs hokkien programs]

Hence, on KIX HD, all HK movies are mandarin dubbed over here. :-((

However, KIX HD here also aired some (English dubbed) classic Chinese movies.
