X10 - No need spend money for lens. m4/3 - You might need to spend money for lens.

QUOTE(ahtiven @ Feb 9 2012, 01:33 PM) have fun with the new firmware finally that part has been fixed.2.Each value set on ISO sensitivity and Dynamic range can be maintained even if aperture setting mode (P / A / S / M) is changed. http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_ca.../x10/index.html btw, just wondering...must use card reader or not? cos i got no card reader or can just copy the firmware file straight to the camera? cos x100 no need use card reader, just copy file to formatted card on camera, then off-on and start the process. |

QUOTE(chris_doe @ Feb 10 2012, 11:59 PM) is it ok if you order for me and ahtiven as well then? 2 pieces for me and 1 for ahtiven, we can share the shipping costs I might order later or might not order at all. Got new interest in the form of OM-D so you guys better order yourself. They confirm multicoated price $22.95 but wont give break down on shipping Anyway below is the quote I got. Jan 10 to Sales Dear Andrea, Please confirm that you have quoted me the multicoated model because that filter is listed as $26.62. How much is the shipping cost itself. If it fits the X10 well, My friends might order too. Regards Sales at The Filter Connection sales@2filter.com Jan 10 to me Hi Tony The cost to ship to you would be $22.95, plus the cost of the filter. Thank you, Andrea Sales@2filter.com The Filter Connection This post has been edited by aquos: Feb 14 2012, 07:32 AM |

QUOTE(jehutyz @ Feb 14 2012, 09:50 AM) Wow.... so good deal. Because I got mine at RM 2100. Buying from a trader here. But it's just the camera, nothing else. Add memory card (16GB Class 10) and postage still 2100 also. Hoping to get this week. After update didn't try it yet. But heard not really fix it. I read about the orb problem, pretty severe in some cases. I think it's a flaw in the EXR sensor design itself. But i have to say 99.99% of the non orb pics taken by X10 made me decided to buy it, and of course, the looks. |

Tried 40.5mm filters at the shops, won't fit and so hard to find 40mm filter & lens cap. Ended up ordering JJC hood to fit Hoya HD filter & lens cap. >_>
Also ordered Nikon Hot Shoe cover for RM9.50 and the only shutter release button on Shashinki lulz. The orb problem can be very severe at ISO 100 but above 1600 it's gone. Just hope Fuji will do something about this but i kinda doubt they will. Might as well improve the sensor and rename it X11. Other than that somewhat major problem, this thing takes freaking nice photos. My flickr if anyone interested. |

I like X10 because its JPEG are excellent and I am lazy and not good at post processing. I call it THE LIGHTSABER OF DEATH.
I find the color to be a bit flat in Standard film mode so i put the Color to high. Velvia is a bit too contrasty for me. Also noticed that maybe it's a bit underexposed under bright sunlight so i might have to adjust a bit. Hm we'll see in my next lonely outing. |
