have fun with the new firmware

2.Each value set on ISO sensitivity and Dynamic range can be maintained even if aperture setting mode (P / A / S / M) is changed.

finally that part has been fixed.

btw, just wondering...must use card reader or not? cos i got no card reader tongue.gif
or can just copy the firmware file straight to the camera?
cos x100 no need use card reader, just copy file to formatted card on camera, then off-on and start the process.

to Sales
Dear Andrea,
Please confirm that you have quoted me the multicoated model because that filter
is listed as $26.62. How much is the shipping cost itself. If it fits the X10 well, My
friends might order too.

Hi Tony

The cost to ship to you would be $22.95, plus the cost of the filter.

Thank you,

Buying from a trader here. But it's just the camera, nothing else. Add memory card (16GB Class 10) and postage still 2100 also. Hoping to get this week.

I read about the orb problem, pretty severe in some cases. I think it's a flaw in the EXR sensor design itself.

But i have to say 99.99% of the non orb pics taken by X10 made me decided to buy it, and of course, the looks. nod.gif

Tried 40.5mm filters at the shops, won't fit and so hard to find 40mm filter & lens cap. Ended up ordering JJC hood to fit Hoya HD filter & lens cap. >_>

Also ordered Nikon Hot Shoe cover for RM9.50 and the only shutter release button on Shashinki lulz.

The orb problem can be very severe at ISO 100 but above 1600 it's gone. Just hope Fuji will do something about this but i kinda doubt they will. Might as well improve the sensor and rename it X11.

Other than that somewhat major problem, this thing takes freaking nice photos.

My flickr if anyone interested. blush.gif

Hey, Orbs are supposed to be round but yours is banana shape. shocking.gif

I seldom get orbs so not bothered by them. I like X10 because its JPEG are
excellent and I am lazy and not good at post processing. Enjoy your camera biggrin.gif

I call it THE LIGHTSABER OF DEATH. ohmy.gif

I find the color to be a bit flat in Standard film mode so i put the Color to high. Velvia is a bit too contrasty for me. tongue.gif

Also noticed that maybe it's a bit underexposed under bright sunlight so i might have to adjust a bit. Hm we'll see in my next lonely outing. cry.gif
