My x10 with 46mm filter and adapter. Filter same diameter as the zoom ring so the camera looks like it has a interchangeable lens attached.

QUOTE(joeroxworld @ Feb 1 2012, 01:10 AM) Does it affect your picture quality ? Or u just bought it to protect ur lens ? Mostly so I can use normal pinch type lens cap. Dont like the original cap pumping and sucking action when you put on and remove it.( I imagine the dust circulating in the camera due to that) I have always used filters on all my lens and dont see any quality difference but I am sure in some situations there will be. Unlike 52mm or 49mm the 46mm filter dont block the OVF much and looks ok on the lens.

so Aquos, if you already have the 46mm filter , do you still want the marumi 40mm filter? I wonder is it worth it, or should we just get the adapter and 46mm filter for x10
anyway, ahtiven, i have just request to 2filter.com about the exact pricing and shipping costs for 4 filters(me and a friend, ahtiven and aquos)
will post the reply by saturday or friday night =)

aquos and ahtiven, this is the reply i got from 2filter
We are expecting the shipment to arrive here is 2-3 weeks. The total for the 4 filters would be $106.48 plus $15.31 for shipping is $121.79 Thank you, Andrea Sales@2filter.com The Filter Connection
I think what they meant is the product will only arrive at their stores in 2-3 weeks from the exporter. I have calculated and after dividing the total cost by 4, it will cost each person RM91.65 only =) The filter is black not to worry
Actually I have found another forum that someone already placed order for 10 of this marumi filters for x10, but all 10 has takers already and he's from singapore, inconvenient for us to collect anyway. It seems they got a mail that 'the shipment to importer' has been delayed for 2 weeks. Up to you guys if you want to play safe and wait for them to get their shipment first, im sure they will post pictures of the x10 attached with the filter so we can see how it is.
Aquos, let me know if you still want in, seeing that you already have the 46mm adapter filter, i just want to reconfirm.
Also, one more thing, i will be overseas for a month from end of february until 20 march, so if i place the order later, i will only be able to pass it to you guys after 20 march, unless one of you want to place the order instead =)

have fun with the new firmware » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1.New function for "RAW" button can be applied by customer's preference By holding down RAW button for approx. 2 second or more, RAW button can be applied into new function similar to "Fn" button setting. 2.Each value set on ISO sensitivity and Dynamic range can be maintained even if aperture setting mode (P / A / S / M) is changed. 3.Face detection function is upgraded to keep tracking face by means of face-tracking AF function. As this function is activated even in movie recording mode, AF on detected face in the movie becomes more effective. 4.Blooming (White disk) phenomena, which can be observed in EXR AUTO mode, is reduced. 5.Compatibility on Mac OS 10.7 When the camera is connected to Mac PC on Mac OS 10.7, the camera is effectively recognized. Additionally, compatibility on RAW FILE CONVERTER EX with Mac OS 10.7 has been confirmed. 6.AF confirmation sound was controlled on "SHUTTER VOLUME" in the SET-UP menu. By this update, this sound is controlled on "OPERATION VOL." in the SET-UP menu, just similar to another functions. 7.The image area with high brightness might be recorded as "black-out" area, just in case of dedicated shooting condition, This unpleasant phenomenon is improved. 8.When the flash is used under macro shooting condition, light-reflected area was shown in greenish. This unpleasant phenomenon is improved. http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_ca.../x10/index.htmlThis post has been edited by ahtiven: Feb 9 2012, 01:37 PM
