Hello...

I found this forum accidentally when i looking for an information about the company. What surprise me is that, I already had registered with this forum as a member...hehe...maybe, long a time ago i used to follow this forum...

By the way, I feel lucky to found this thread. I just got a call to attend interview with this company located at Boulevard, Mid Valley, 11th floor...I not really remember what is the company name....i just heard "Pacific" but the full name i dont know....

A woman named Daisy (but she sound like Indian woman), called me said that their company got my resume from JenJobs.com and after reviewing my resume, her manager had like to give me an opportunity to work as Customer Service Exec. She asked me to choose which session I want to go. I said I prefer in the morning. Then, she asked me to come on Monday, 10.30am.

So, after I read this thread, I think I will not going there. Thaks to all.

Guys, have any of you heard of this company: X-TREME DIMENSIONS SDN BHD

This company is at the Menara Yayasan Selangor right behind Amcorp mall and the position is Management Trainee:Sales & Marketing. Here's the link:http://my.jobstreet.com/jobs/2009/6/default/10/847369.htm?fr=J

Got invited for the interview which I attended today and they say they if I complete the management trainee program withuot a hitch I can become a manager and earn around 30k per month within a year and a half. This alone sounds too good to be true?? The office also another thing.. the people that are supposed to be managers and even the branch manager, or so I'm told, are all around 25-30 years old.  Another thing is I looked all around the net (including LYN) for "X-treme Dimensions"  but I found nothing at all. All I can work with is the description in jobstreet:

"X-Treme Dimensions Sdn Bhd - an affiliation of APPCO GROUP MALAYSIA, is a market leader in providing turnkey outsourced solution for international and nationally renowned companies. As a leading expert in Face-to-Face Marketing, we create opportunities and provide marketing solutions to enable our clients to take their brand, product or services directly to their chosen customer."

A bit fishy.

I'm now being considered for a second interview. Any ideas?

lol, they juz call me for interview yesterday~~~Since you talk til like tis, i think i gonna reject them~~~r u working as manager for them and earn 30k per month right now? If yes then i also want to go~~~~hahaa

Hye LYN forummers,

wow I just googled the company's name and this is the 1st thing I stumbled upon o.O I'm quite surprised by how much scams there is out there.

Now this is my story, do please help me identify whether this is possibly fraud or not, seeing there isn;t any clear answer from all the thread I've read so far about this company. Thx!

Yesterday I called to enquire about the vacancies (as advertised in The Star) for their management or graduate trainee position. (in quite a desperate search for a job) salary was within range too. Asked for Lenny Laura as seen on paper but someone else entertained instead. She said the vacancies was still available and to attend the interview the next morning at Plaza Permata. I asked for the company name but they didn't really replied to my answer, and instead, they asked to attend the interview the next morning.

Okay so I was suspicious but I decided to give a try anyway. So I've attended the interview this morning and I just come across their company name (Infinity Rank Sdn. Bhd.) During the interview with Ms Yati, she explained that the company deals as a middle people to advertised products from other company. Currently they are expanding the bsns to 25 other branches (i was a bit taken aback here, coz I've never really heard of the company name before). They even had Jusco and other reputable company's award certificate in that room.

She explained further that there are 3 stages for the graduate trainee position. 1st is to go venture into the marketing section (meaning to go to events and stuff) for the 1st 2 months. Later train in the HR and the last, into administration sector for the 1st how many months I'm not too clear. But anyhow, they will process the application 1st before asking you to come for a second interview. They called me the same evening asking whether I am still interested in the position. I said yes,  and she later asked me to report 8.45 in the morning tomorrow, wear formal attires and bring a pen and a notebook. she reminded me that it would be a full day smth tomorrow (not so sure here coz the line was bad.) but basically i have to leave my day free for the company i guess.

Now at this point of time, i wanted to know more of the company, so i googled about it and stumbled upon to this forum.

What's do you guys think?
*
i also pena kena... i saw advert in paper.. seeking for IT Admin (i am a IT fresh grad back then).. i call.. they cakap come over now also can interview (i called at lunch time back then)..asked for a location they gave the land mark.. once reached the area... (pj ss14 near samad skool).. orange bulding.. very old... looked a bit haunted as well... so went to interview... bla bla bla.. they said they will call back.. ok lah.. while driving back..they call.. "CONGRATS.. u dapat the job esok datang".. so pergi lah the next day... sekali kene jual biskut kt area kajang... hahah.. time sales tuh...tak jual barang just tgk Senior buat kerja.. then i said i need to go to the toilet... but in the end i terus naik KTM Komuter go back home.. then off cell for 3days...

wakakakaa...

Guys,

Juz got scammed from a hongkong based company. At first, I thought it was a company that was inviting me for an interview. I stupidly gave my name and IC as soon as they asked. When they asked about my bank details, I stopped and asked what is going on. They spouted some excuse that I won some prize money. I didn't tell them about my bank but I'm worried about my IC. What should I do?? Report it to police?

They have so many offices in Malaysia, but their website(not much data) even their job vacancy advertisment(newspaper-didn't state their company's name and address) seem like a scam.
p/s: I js know their company's name by calling them.
The receptionist straight away ask me go for interview. I'm doubt because he never ask me to send my resume to them or ask about my qulification. It seems like they are very free to interview people.

Then I checked their info from website and I found that this company is one of the regional corparate agent of DNMS International Sdn Bhd. Another regional corparate agents are:
BUTTERWORTH>> NARASHIMA SDN BHD
> NL VISION SDN BHD
> ORIN'S ADVERTISING
> IDEAL APPROACH SDN BHD
IPOH > ORIN'S ADVERTISING SDN BHD
> IDEAL APPROACH SDN BHD
JLN. AMPANG, KL > NL VISION SDN BHD
> RGV WINNERS SDN BHD
> PRO DIRECT SDN BHD
> SV DYNAMIC ORG S/B
JLN. IPOH, KL >ORIN'S ADV S/B

PLAZA PERMATA, KL > INFINITY RANK SDN BHD

PLAZA PANTAI > PRO DIRECT SDN BHD

SUBANG JAYA > PRO DIRECT SDN BHD

KLANG > NARASHIMA SDN BHD
> NL VISION SDN BHD

What I found out:- DNMS International Sdn Bhd is MLM based company

MLM: What is it?

The simplest definition of MLM is that it employs a multilevel commission structure in paying its sales force so that salespeople receive not just commissions for their own sales but also commission overrides on the sales of multiple levels of salespeople below them. Multilevel marketing gained a negative reputation over time and began calling itself alternate names like: network marketing, direct marketing or direct selling (misleading terms since direct sales encompasses single-level sales compensation structures as well), matrix marketing, viral marketing, referral-based marketing, dual marketing, consumer direct marketing, and "home-based business". No matter what they call it, it's still MLM.

I'm still not sure this company, Orin's advertising Sdn Bhd is a scam or not. If somebody know, please tell me!!!

I have something to ask about the Harry Business Solution. I saw this advertisement at TheStar Classified. Its a home base mailing job. The offer is very good. RM 1 per catalogue i mail out and i can earn up to RM 200 per day. But the problem is he ask me to pay RM 189 for some secure fees and will be refundable once i complete my 50 orders. I check the company online and saw alot of complained bout this company. Some even said its fraud and scammer.

This is my reply to him after he send me the offer package.

Me

Thanks for your info Mr Harry.

1) Any genuine job will never request to pay a single cents! I work for you, you pay me. I never heard of employee need to pay employer for a job.

2) If i really need to pay RM 189 for a secure fees, why don't i just photostat my ic and then post it to you? Any lost you can just report me and deduct it from my future salary or make a refund from me?

3) RM 1 per catalogue is very attractive commission. If i were a boss, i will hire a foreign workers and pay them monthly. If i do so, i just need to pay few hundred bucks.

4) I've checked your company. Just need to type "Harry Business Solution" and you can see how many people out there complained about you.

5) Obviously this is a fraud company.

Thanks.

Reply from Mr Harry
The info about our work is totally untrue... We do provide mailing list for our members to mail out, NO selling NOR house-to-house involve.

We encounter some troublemakers from time-to-time whom blackmailed us to get some money from us. Of course, we refused and they started to cause trouble to us. Same like to other companies that receive blackmails from unscrupulous people. Honestly say, they are not and never be our member before... These people normally are 'anonymously' posted their irresponsible comments all over the Internet by putting someone's picture as their own just to get what they want. It is actually up to you whether you believe these people whom like to hide themselves but talking bad things about other people at their back. You can try to ask them to reveal their personal contact information to call them and ask them directly to see whether these people are REAL OR NOT... We bet they WON’T. You should know that ANYONE can virtually post anything bad or false about anybody or any company without any prove or solid evidence on the Internet. We have provided detailed information in our Introduction email with our registered business since 2004 and REAL full personal name and definitely we will Not jeopardize ourselves into this if this is a false offer. If we never send the package out to all our members, we wouldn't have last this long also; which is common sense...
Finally, it is up to you to decide whether you believe what these ‘anonymous’ people say whom definitely bring nothing to you but only to join them in Failures group OR us whom have reveal necessary information for you to judge and whom maybe able to lead you to better living.

We truly understand your concern out there however, due to the vast feedback from the majority, we cannot offer this package without a registration fee because of the likelihood that many people would only be ordering the package merely to satisfy their curiosity. So the reason we require a one-time registration fee is to ensure that you are serious and willing to make a commitment to our company and program. Besides already stated above, it will also to cover our costs of creating, maintaining, and more importantly, updating YOU with continually updated and current information and materials. You will get paid directly by the clients beforehand we do. Our work system is designed in such a way so our members can get paid on-the-spot everyday without the need to wait for payment. Therefore, we do not have access to your earnings to make any sort of deduction for costs of your own package to be prepared and sent to you. We can confidently say we are one of the few genuine Mailing Assignment companies operating in M'sia here as our company is registered since 2004 and we never miss a single delivery of the packages to all our members so far and we even have them working with us since then also. It also proves that our system works.

You should be able to differentiate between us and those false offers out there after you have read through our Introduction email we sent to you earlier including the proof of payment received by our members in the attachment file in that email. Our company is registered in 2004 and since then, we never miss a single delivery of the packages to all our members so far and we even have home-workers working with us since then also. Our company is not a new company, history speaks by itself. You will definitely receive yours after you have registered in our program. If we were to never send out the packages as promised since 2004, we wouldn’t have last this long; so it’s common sense. You can go to www.ssm.com.my to check our Business registration by clicking the e-info on the main page, then click on the Business Profile Search, key-in our company name Harry Business Solution in the Business Name field and click Search. Our Business is not registered in some cyberspace like many hype you can find out there, but through SSM. That's why we don't use website and we do not introduce our offer on the Internet as we don't want to be categorized as those hype and MLMs you can find out there through Internet, but we only use email and we advertise on the newspaper which requires only legitimate and truly registered business to be allowed to advertise.

We even have company bank account, not just only personal saving account. All valid documents and verification are required to obtain a company bank account.

The one-lifetime RM189 we charge is for BOTH online work Data Entry Work System members’ area lifetime access and also the Mailing Assignment which for the costs of your own package inclusive postage and handling costs. You pay only once, but you get TWO work opportunities that you can work for life as our work program is designed for one to work on long-term daily basis with us in win-win situation. We don't over-charge nor do we charge anymore in future like other companies do with hundreds of Ringgit, but we don't do that. This further proves that we are genuine. The fee charged will also encourage members to really commit and work with us with the package they received and not to put it a side due to some reasons such as; just curious only or already got a better work offer but there are costs incurred for preparing the whole package for our members. In order to safeguard ourselves, we have to charge this minimal amount of fee for the costs, not for profit. Most of our members can earn back their investment in the FIRST WEEK they operate this work at home, based on our guidelines.
The fastest way for you to receive your package is thru bank-in method so you can scan the slip and email it to us and type your registration details in the email content. Your package will be mailed to you the next working day once we receive it. We will reply your email on the same day as acknowledgment and your package will reach you within 7 working days after we have received your registration mail/email.

I wish to ask for advise becos i really need a part time job unsure.gif

My recent job in which the sales agent almost cheated me my salary. Here's what I have to share and hopefully it will caution you guys and girls here looking for a temporary job.

Recently I almost got cheated for my April salary from this guy by the name of ONG KHUN YEU (Steve) by the contact number of 016 221 8635. I worked in April with him as a sales promoter for DiGi and all forms of contact with him is just via telephone and text messages.

Earlier before I started working, he informed me that the salary will be paid at the end of every month or latest during the first week of the following month (which according to the labour law is true).

Unfortunately, when I stopped working with him after 2 weeks (for finding him using me in a way since I have my own transportation and over working me ie. working way past my designated working hours), and asked him when would be receiving my pay which I expect at the end of the month of April, he told me I will only be receiving my pay at the end of May (in which I find it ridiculous since I worked in April and I am pretty sure that DiGi has already paid him the money to scout for promoters).

The problem of the pay arouse during this time and further continued on till the end of May and then till the first week of June in which he was reluctant to pay me my salary. At the May (in which he told me I would receive my pay) he first told me he would bank in my pay, he gave me the first excuse which was he would pay my by the following Thursday or Friday (which was either 3rd or 4th of June) but he didn't. When I called up on the Saturday (5th of June) morning, he made another excuse by saying he has reached his ebanking limit for the day and he said he would bank in later on that day itself but as expected he did nothing. Then came Sunday (6th June), when I called him in the morning, he purportedly rejected my call knowing that I am calling him for the pay again. When I finally got through on the line with him, he game another excuse by saying he wasn't free yesterday (which was Saturday, 6th June). Prior to that call, he did try to hang up on me before I could ask him when exactly he is going to bank in the money to my bank account by saying he would call me back.

But thankfully on that very day on the Sunday (7th June) I received my pay.

Little is known about him and I am not too sure if he is a forum member here. I am pretty sure he found me here because I did put up a reply on the Job Enlistment subforum here. The only information I have about him is his full name stated above, his contact number and where he is from which is Wangsa Maju area.

My siggy has been editted as suggested by some mods to help put up a precautionary mesage smile.gif

QUOTE(budakjahat @ Jun 1 2006, 10:16 AM)
oh ya, forgot.. also Forex Com. seeks personnel for expansion..

my story.. i've got a couple laa..
but sadly, i forgot the posts i applied for..
i have this 'ability' to block out things that piss me off..

STORY 1
Comp : Some Forex Comp in Megan Phileo Ave.

same like the others..
went there.. was interviewed.. bla bla bla..
the next day, got called.. u got the job.. so come tomorrow..
i came.. they showed me around and started the 'training'..
learnt a lil bit abt fibonacci.. bull n bear la.. stuff like that la..
the next day, the 'sermon' begins.. talked abt how we need 2 help the comp..
and how the staff that are already there are pulling their own resources..
and investing themselves.. they were like.. why don't u join us?
it's something like, the whole share is RM10k, so if one person come up with RM2k..
then another 4 come up with the same amount.. so share2..
so i said, no money lorr.. so how? they said, it's ok.. ur parents got rite?
i said, i'm supposed to support my parents now.. u ask me 2 ask them 4 money lorr?
they said, for 'starting' only..
i can only imagine what the end would be like bcos i went back that evening vowing never to return..

STORY 2
Comp : Regal (affiliated to Cobra) <- what else can u expect from snakes huh? how ironic..

i answered an ad in Jobstreet..
so i got an email, very profesionally done n all..
asking me to come interview at Megan Phileo Promenade or whatsthatplace laa..
so i went.. there were like 15 other ppl there, presumably waiting to be interviewed..
i filled up the forms and waited my turn.. and i was called for an interview with 4 other candidates..
one a 30 something abg.. the other 2 were pretty girls..
the interviewer's a very confident young guy.. early to mid 20s..
spoke abt the company's expanding.. mite even open branch in the Philippines..
who knows, one of you mite become the head there..
yadda yadda yadda he yacks on and on..
then interviewed us.. and at the end of that, asked us..
would u guys be free next week? the girls said, yes..
the abg n i said no.. so the interviewer asked when will u be free?
i asked why? is there a 2nd interview?
the interview went.. "ahah! that's what i was just going to talk abt.."
he said that to be shortlisted, all of us had to go for a 4 days observational test..
meaning, we have to go out to the 'field'.. sell stuff..
and after 4 days(3 days if u're THAT GOOD n lucky, woww, yippee!! tongue.gif  mad.gif )..
u'll be called for the 2nd interview..
i was like WTF? r u serious?
he was like, yeah..
so i fired back, what abt the 4 days? r we ur staff or what?
he started saying, and this i had no problem remembering..
"well, technically, no....." i was like WTF?????!!!!
so that means, for 4 to 3 days, u basically get free labour..
cos there's no guarantee u'll get the job rite?
and even if u do get the job, is it worth it?
from the look of it, i don't think so..
and i cabut with the interviewer in mid sentence..

okay dear all members here,

just want to let u all know that actually all things in this world is good in the beginnings, but just "HUMAN BEING" that make it worst, complicated and bad impressions at last. Do u all agree??

Jobs and MLM companies are also the same. At the beginnings, why jobs exist because there are ppls need other ppls to help them works and ppl wan jobs to earn money but now some bad thinking companies 'mempergunakan' these kinds of jobs vacancies to scam and cheat ppls.
Same as MLM companies, at the beginnings, they also do sales only but with different method that face to face one, but also those evil thinking companies use these kind of structure and method to cheat and scam ppls also.

I also kena cheat 2 times by the jobs vacancies - Dreamsfactory and pacificasiawidegroup, coz i check their licenses in ministry of human resources, they are no licences at all...
I also kena cheat by MLM, but I dont wan mention the company but still I found out that there are still some legal MLM companies out there (very few only) which still acceptable...

Anyway, things will become either good or bad all because of human beings, the most important is we able to make it clear whether truely right or wrong~^^

I need your advice on a situation I face recently.
I am working for this XXX company for 8 months now and upon confirmation they have increased my salary to RM X amount and they put me in charge of the company online marketing presence. But after a few months our managing director decided postpone the online marketing project to next year. So my manager came to me saying that since now I am no longer in charge of the project they want to lower down my salary by three to four hundred. So the company plan to draft another letter for me to sign saying my salary has been reduced to RM Y amount. Which of course I have not sign. I told him I am not happy about this reduction so he give me a few options, either i resign or just take the amount.
I mean can they do such thing all of a sudden? Or is there some labor law protecting workers? Because its really not my fault that they didn't want to proceed with the project and Its really not fair to me.
