Hey guys. I have a story to share. Just now while working at my office, a young guy who dress formal were at our front door. He looked early 20s from his appearance. He said that he wanted to pass some documents to the person-in-charge of the company but he could not name the person. Once he came in, he straight away offer to sell us this product and he claimed that this week is their special price of RM19.90. Usual price would be more than RM20. Trust me, I can buy this product directly from the dealer at a price of RM5. Look at the amount they are earning.

I tried to google the number given on the brochure and it lead me to here. On the other hand, I pitied the guy.

I apologize if this is not the right section for me to share my story.

Go check if they have a website, no website, I confirm wont go.means, small small company

if even google cant trace it so its really new and small comp lor

ask for company website and do some research 1st...if no website then straight away tell him/her

Not sure whether got black and white or not yet, as he just called me and ask me to bank in or go to the office to make the payment. But feel a bit suspicious as why will ask me to bank in the payment only.

I actually just came back from the interview of United Meteoric Group and Jag Advertising @ JB.
From what I saw from the website, there are both under Appco.

Ok 1st I entered United Meteoric Group. Which is super simple and not that nice looking office. Empty leaving room with one waiting room, one training room and one I suppose, the boss room.

All Indians. No offended. The counter lady is very friendly.
And there's a lot of fresh graduates like me waiting for interview. Most of them chinese. And I have gone for 1st interview.
The person in charge said that he is going to have his own office since he join the comapny for 2 years bla bla...
They said they gonna shift into Ambank building in 2 weeks.
and oso tell me tat there's little staff in the office bcuz most of them going out to work outdoor edi.
(living room only have= one counter desk + one whiteboard + one ppl teaching one ppl listening. )
n ask me go back to wait for the calls. If passed, nid to undergo 3hours 2nd interview. (which there're some ppl that i saw over there is undergo 2nd interview, according to him)

Then i went to JAG advertising.
Simple office at kinda deserted place.
Big TV in the middle of the office. Meeting @ living room.
All chinese.
few persons as well. They said they just moved in.
The boss interviewed me. and tell me tat they are diff fr united meteoric.
well. told me i can make 500k within 5 years.
ask me go to training tomoro.
he can fetch me.
i can quit anytime if i dont like it.
after the training can get rm150 incentives.
den training again to get employed.
den i ask him how much pay?
in the end he said is sales based. no basic pay.
he: why are u asking me to pay rm2.5k to you if you can earn 4k?
but oso depends on your performance lar....


so are they scams as well???
in what way define them as scammer?

well, it's not really a scam or an illegal job.

It just that, this is a sales based position, and you are earning commission from it.

Did u ask them, are you going to get EPF from them? Socso?

what i understand after reading this thread, those job offers are considered scam since they advertised under different company name, also different job title that didnt even sound like a sales job.

but then,all the process are the same. the same MO regardless of company name or location. unimpressive , almost empty office. lying they're big company, moving out or just moved in. supposedly have many level of interviews la and blablabla...

but in the end, all the outcome is the same. selling biskut laa, streamyx la..

so is there nothing we can do for this type of company? misleading hopeful job seekers.

I've advertised recently for two positions here through lowyat jobs. I just like to share that one of the respondents replied with a virus attachment. So please be wary of respondents to your email especially its pretty normal they will attach their CV. The guy who did it to me is

So just be careful opening any email.

Hello guys I had just come across this forum upon googling on some company. And I know this had been asked before but I need some legit confirmation.
Is this company called Ryhno Maxx a scam/fraud because I got called for the interview exactly tomorrow and I had called them this morning to postpone the interview to tomorrow due to certain things and the person in charge (a woman) seems so reluctant to give the company name. I knew it was ryhno maxx from the mail I received. If this company a scammed I wouldn't want to waste my time because it feels like I'm sacrificing my degree for nothing. Hope someone could give me some thought.Thanks in advance.
