After using couple of day yes i do agree with some ppl with the cover abit difficult to use. The device itself it is large enough to held + together with the cover flip to the side i barely held in properly, it was just laying on my hands.

I do need a casing with slight texture so i can held it properly coz G.Note it's too sleek and solid to held .. maybe because i have small hands, but yea if ppl want it to be SLEEK looking definitely the flip cover..

i find the flip cover a bit annoying . especially if u put in on ur jeans .. definitely will open the flip case .. u guys got the normal flip case or the bling2 flip case

I'm planning to get that + Ultra Clear SP (love the ori color) once i get my hand on Note.

Let me help answer some of your questions :

1. so far so good, the batt life i can say it's one of the best.. of course juice defender helps a bit I guess... whole day on 3G (occasional download but whatapps online throughout) morning used from 7am till now about 20% left... i think if u dun on data and wifi, probably can last u 3 days... with normal usage... screnn bigger but the batt also bigger 2200mah

2. Not at all... because it's slim it can easily slot into your slack pants.. jean should be just nice for front pocket.. back pocket should be easily fit.... the weight also feel just nice.. not too ringan like the S2

yea lol, i guess we gotta wait for back case :/.. anyway i was in Midvalley event yesterday for 3 days and G.Note is getting alot of attention haha.. whenever i slip out my G.Note it is like everyone looking at it!, some uncle came to me saying isnt that the new Samsung? and wow looks very sleek. I am proud

Definitely feels more solid than S2 and made this feeling again previously when first time buying Nokia e71 solid + sleek..

i have 3 cases 1 normal and 2 flip cover(1 bling2 and 1 normal)

Download and run spareparts + and untick compatible mode..

Read sifu benny's post at page 59 post #1180 for detailed procedures... or u can refer to his excellent galaxy tab post for much details procedures... it applied the same to the note....

my smartphone before Android were the Palm Treo - 600 and subsequently 680. So using a stylus is so natural to me.

when it is in the jean, how the flip case will open?

i got both normal and bling bling. But using the normal one though. Not really like the flipcase, will get a pouch and use the default back cover without the flip.

potential user (me) wants to ask...

1) how to use traditional chinese.

i tried the demo set at samsung shop. only have simplified chinese input.

did not see any setting for traditional chinese.

2) any car mount suitable for it? it is wider than normal phone.

Cool .. man i just got the flip cover normal version ..

cause i put in in my pocket and i try to get it out the flip cover open prolly my hand snuck into the pocket a bit big and stiff thats why it open .. not so much room if something big snuck into my jeans lolz ..

i think maybe only have simplified chinese. Anyway, I think only Hong Kong still using traditional chinese, right? Or taiwan also?

just get a bigger universal car mount. I got a universal car mount for tablet - when reduced to its smallest size, fit the Note perfectly.

Hi guys, i just realise one thing, is it my screen problem or it's normal. When i'm in call i just look at the screen and browse back to the main screen, the top part colour look very funny, but after browse a few page different then it returns to black colour and it goes back to this green colour again. Is this normal? Please refer to the photo:

this is normal for andriod meaning ur call is active

did you look at the box carefully.

erm, it is a very "micro".....size like ur normal sim card.

wait, SGS Note use micro sim card, or normal 1?
