hi guys i was wondering if the note needs to be rooted to install downloaded apps from torrent?

hi moony88, u dun need to root to install apps from other sources beside the market. as long as u hv the file manager which is already built in, you may install any apps u wish for. the apps file is in .apk format. just drag and drop to the internal storage and install through file manager

lol... i just ask him look at the box carefully - apparently there is nothing stated there saying microSD card is included. tongue.gif

btw, just realise that Asphalt 6 HD is FREE at Samsung Apps - go download now if you haven't done so. thumbup.gif

ahh.. i see.. so once i've installed the apps, does it 'communicate/connect' with its developer for updates? afraid it will detect the apps and lock it >.< if it does how do i prevent this?

AFAIK NO micro SD card included in the package. anybody got microSD included meh?

u can still update it through market, dun worry. there is no app lock so far. we cant discuss any illegal sources here, sorry if i couldnt provide u further detail..
