To all sifu over here, i planning to buy the N55SL which currently price at 3599, in here i just want to know 1 thing, how is the heat consumption, will it easy to get hot, cause i actually quite a heavy user, normally won't shutdown the laptop due to download thing. so scare long time operate, scare the hardware can't tahan. My current fujitsu, has been 4 year and start give me problem. Plan to change to asus, cause heard that asus is quite a good brand, and another main point i consider to change to asus is due to it is also a well know motherboard manufacture, so i guess its laptop should be ok. Plese correct me if i wrong and take for your advice

well if its only download stuff, don worry it won't produce that much of heat. my N45SF is with me for like almost 10 months and i shut down for like less than 10 times. But for laptop, after one year or probably half a year then u have to open it up and change the thermal paste, so it can last longer and won't produce that much of heat

err, so far i dunno anywhere got this service or not, but usually most of the laptop users they change themself. Its pretty easy actually. U just need to buy the thermal paste and then u can change it urself

u can try some of the forumer here. they sell it at quite reasonable price. U can try Artic cooling mx-4. Its quite nice and affordable. Easy to apply too
tuniq tx-4 not bad also but its a bit more difficult to apply as its more viscous. Both these two thermal paste not much different among them. Their performance are on par This post has been edited by htpkevin: May 7 2012, 02:22 PM |
