Hi guys,

i'm sorry for asking this question, i just went through a few pages back on this thread. Didnt really have time to read all the posts. But i was wondering if anyone here can confirm the specs for the N56?

from what i've gathered here. N56 will be released by july in Malaysia, am i right? that's a pretty long wait. My gf plans to get a n56, but i was wondering if its really worth the wait? how much of an improvement from the N56 compared to the N55? if its not too much, then i'd just ask her to get the N55 instead. She already started her semester, and really need a laptop asap. Please and thank you notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

if looks are vital, it's worth the wait. otherwise specs are disappointing. barely an upgrade.

Well, the macbook pro looks on the N56 is really nice. But whats the gpu? is it gt 650? Cause I saw somewhere that the gpu for the N56 is more like a downgrade instead of an upgrade.

The gpu is gonna be MUCH better if it comes with the 650m. But the same if it comes with 635m since thats just a rebadged 555m. But im pretty sure it will come with 650m sonce its pretty stupid to release a sucessor laptop with the same gpu performance when its gonna be in the same price bracket as the n55 was when it cane out.

well GT650M performance is better than GTX460m and GTX560M. So even if Asus put them in probably it will cost even more. So far the only confirmed model with GT650M are new revision of Alienware M14x

well if ur gf are not in a hurry(assignment or presentation), u can wait til at least official news. If its really GT630M only, then probably u can get Nx5SF, probably by that time nx5SF price will drop maybe coz newer model are release
