I guess i5 is enough for most users. But if your budget allows, why not get i7 straight. More worth it i think.

i7 is quad core proc bro. If your applications can scale well with multi core proc, then of course i7 worth it.

If you use Photoshop or Autocad or those heavy rendering software, then go for i7

Nope, never encounter before. What update is that? Sure it's the same update? Some updates like .Net Framework will install so many times with the same name. But if you read the description carefully, it's actually a different update.

After the update, have you check whether it's installed successfully or not?

Added on April 26, 2012, 7:06 pmHi again,

Im on his battery now., I tried launching WoW and HoN, everything went smoothly as if I'm on adapter (in fact, before this i never play games on battery) this is 1st time.

His games are still sluggishly slow, too pathetic to be on a N55SF...

I believe i have posted the solution for this prob a while ago:

go to your nvidia control panel->manage 3d settings->under global settings, choose high-performance nvidia processor as your preferred graphics processor.

Hi skyline100, try setting the user password, that should set the password request to prompt when you boot your computer.  smile.gif
