Current owners can make tons of money!

I really dun understand how car prices work in Msia but it is just so ridiculous. Why is there an increase of 35k for Polo Gti? In Msia, Scirocco price is more than a Golf GTI by almost 40k but in Spore and the rest of the world, the GTI is the more expensive car. The reason I was told is because of the taxes slapped on Scirocco for a being a 2 door car. But why is Polo Gti 2 door cheaper than the 4 door? In other parts of the world, car prices dun usually increase when the next generation model comes out. Even if it does, its very minor. But in Msia, it just keeps going up! For the current Poloi Gti owners, I'm really happy for you! I hope Golf Gti price will also increase

all these price increase is unbelievable..

either customs ain't doing thier job initially
or
VW has been under declaring their cars
or
"Someone" got Customs to "re-evaluate" the duties on VWs

anyone here done any analysis?

If Golf Gti increase price, would F30 be a better choice?

Polo Gti increase by 33k...? Better than buying toto huh...

Bro, get urself a unit of Golf tsi will be good enough.

As current TSI owner, I also hope Golf price will increase... So my car won't depreciate... Haha...

yes, with current price, golf tsi would be better choice. But no sunroof and no 3 door hot hatch feel...

Why u need sunroof in Malaysia?

So got my ride on Wednesday and took it for 3M tinting on Thursday thanks to Mac.Tay's recommendation

That was what i complained about when I collected my car after the SW update.
But most 1.4 owners said no difference or smoother gear change but never said sluggish. ...



Guys, anyone having the same problem as well? After the SW updates , my car juddering like hell, the situation gets even worse if stucked in the jam , any sifu has solution for it? Btw, the car had clocked 21k.

What promo is going on with the Golf TSI?

Seriously, what nonsense is this? 30k+ increase in pricing for the polo GTI.. I might as well just go straight to the golf ...

I'm really curious what's with that drastic increment.. are they like not planning to sell polo gtis anymore so they can bump their golf sales
