syrian.. breeder told me dat pups will b considered adults once they reach 6months old..dunno whether correct or not..
joana, he's "toilet trained"..da breeder did show me when he ask him 2 poo n wee he really poo n wee inside da cage. but when they're over excited..i think many dogs would wee a lil too..jus like when they're sked.. same thing goes to my rott n spitz..

Actually, a dog is only considered as an adult when it reaches 1 year. Large dogs would be adults around 2 years old.... so you should not stop feeding puppy food at 6 months.
The breeder told you something breeders would normally do, breed dogs starting at 6 months....
You see, a dog sexually matures at 6 to 7 months... Like human get period at 12 years old.... is a 12 year old considered an adult? No right? 6 to 7 months is the teenage time for dogs.... the best time to do serious training.
Also, 6 months also is the beginning of the teething period. The puppy teeth will drop and grow the adult teeth, just like when we were kids and teens, losing our teeth to get our permanent teeth. Same thing for dogs.
Fully grown and developed would be at around 1 year old. Normally at that age, we switch the puppyfood to adult food.

Well, your Jack Jack won't be eating alot of calories.... if he is eating it well then just keep on going.
Avoid Eukanuba.... not a very good brand....
