yer .. why did jack jack eat his poo and drink his urine?? Isn't that gross?? What are the underlying reasons for shih tzu to do that ?

i know they eat poo because the dog food is not digested, so comes out in poo and then they eat it lo.. due to malnutrition also.. but urine.. not quite sure

eating poo/pee can be a habit to those pup . resaon why they eat the poo and drink own pee is because indigestion or hungry.That's a way to prevent pups to eat their own poo. i heard that u can buy a enzymes tablets called BIOTASE, which is 56 tablets for RM28.but then I dun think can get it from retail outlet/pet shop , and i think have to get it from vet.so jaunty_niel , ur jack jack still eating own poo?

if u say the dg eats back its own poo because got food smell, I guess the dog is hungry lor. Feed it more per meal lor. As with drinking the urine, could it be his urine is "sweet" (diabetes) since u feed jack jack with all kinda human food?? If indigestion, then maybe you try and soak the kibbles with water before giving them to jack jack - easier to digest ??

hmm..previously i asked dr yeoh 2 check is sugar level n he says its normal..
no diabetes..he's not hungry la..he eats 3-4times per day n in big big meals..he's ade 6.5kgs~
6.5 for a 7month old isnt it too heavy d..

he dragged da poo n kept in under my sofa..
lucky i saw those poo stains..
no wonder he came n lick me..
jus showered myself n cleaned up everything including him..
smacked him all over his sorry arse..
he scold my bf 4 scolding him as well..

Then look here look there with his ego, proud face hor. Then I kept calling coz I sked he pees outside, he jz dun want to come - being stubborn. Then I take newspaper smack my table - got loud sound - and I said "HEPY! COME!!!" - he terkejut, and fast fast come into my room. Now he's a bit sked of me. When I said "NO", then he noes I mean it and I'm not playing wtih him. .

rebellious gua .. LOL. U need to let jack jack knows you're the "BOSS" and he's a so-called "SERVANT". He should listen to you; NOT you listening to him. Make him know you're higher in position than him lor. My boy only sked of me coz I always scold him when he do something wrong. Sometimes if scold is useless, I'll take something and smack on the floor or my table or door hard to make some loud noise to scare him. I say one word "NO" lightly - better than my bf kept saying "NO" nonstop. He's not sked of my bf one. Only sked of me coz I'm strict to him.
