oh air combat magazine ......... many ppl collect tat also.... but i duno wher to get the mag... here dun sell

That seems to be quite an interesting magazine... Dunno whether available in SG or even Bangkok leh, since its not sold here...

erm..actually that mag quite some time d and total there are 32 issues but the last 8 issues were unable in m'sia as the factory was burnt at that time so only get 24 issues if im not mistaken.
each issue also comes with a model plane so kinda worth it i think

sorry bro, checked the mag and everything but cant find any details of the local distributor alredi..the distributor's office is located in USJ 19, Subang Jaya, Selangor but the actual name and address cant really remember, really sorry bout that, as for the price cant b sure as quite some time alredi

i think the price is around RM 20 + to 30 if not mistaken... and tat mag is quite awhile ago one..... but i think u cna find at garage sell got ppl wan sell the plane last time... but expensive la.....around RM 15 + without mag

Icic, then its not very cheap lor... M$15 for a plane, when the mag itself is M$20 and with the free plane...

i think the mag not that expensive when i bought it that time.. the first issue is damn cheap i think around 7.90 then after that subsequent issue i think its less than RM15, if not mistaken

Hi guys.. Its quite a long time din reply to this thread.. Anyway I notice that u all were discussing about the air combat collection magazine.. It is a cheap mag + u can get free model.. The price for the magazine is not that expensive.. Around RM9.90-rm11.90 if I recalled correctly laa kan.. Im not sure about this, but any of u wanna look for the magazine, there is a shop in CarreFour Subang Jaya sell this book.. But its 3 three years ago, soo if u happen to go there, check lah the shop.. Who knows he still have the magazine.. Its located near the carpark entrance inside the building.. But the shop sells the magazine outrageously expensive.. I still remember he sells magazine with F-117 issue around Rm50++ and that is one of the issue that I miss.. Darn it.. Other issue, the price is varied.. Search in Ebay Malaysia, I found out that they dont have it anymore.. Last I've seen is earlier this year.. Managed to get 2 issues that I din have for rm20 each.. Lucky me.. Some of the bookshops also sells the leftover issue mostly Spitfire & BF109 issue.. Other that that, sometimes u can see people selling the models itself (without the magazine) at outrageous price..

Since I already know whats the original price of the model, it look unrealistically high.. But sometimes I wonder whether people buy those expensive model or not.. I can bet 100% without doubt, I will not buy it.. Even come with magazine, I will consider deeply if its more that rm30.. Lol.

i saw a good mag on military planes at MPH a few days back..rm32.90 so expensive...so i sat down and read it there and then..
it had a very interesting article on mig-35 and mig-29KUB..

later i went to toycity and saw an su-34 of a similiar brand to the stealth bomber posted by our frind a few weeks back..rm34.90..no money dat time..ive given up any hope of finding an su-30 model..

i noticed that kit models at toycity are scarce ady..they hardly sell them and when i saw an f-15 scale model on the front..i asked them the price and they said,"that one display ony"..i felt like crying..

yea i think so..but they didnt even have a model kit for any planes..i saw a large model kit of the russian carrier,the admiral kuznetsov thou..sellin for rm800..

Recently, I bought 2 Witty Wing plane (1/72), F16 (F-16 31 Sqn Belgian Airforce Tiger Scheme) and F18 (USS Kitty Hawk VFA-102) from an US online shop. The overall cost inclusive of postage is RM230 which comes up to about RM115 per piece. Is it expenisve?

That's quite cheap for an online purchase . Which online shop you bought the planes from ?

All three planes, both F16 & F18 are bought recently from greatmodel.com. F15 bought sometime ago in miniature hobby (in MV)
