Yeah, I still manage to get more than 6Mbps with router combo. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

The Aztech router? Sucks. laugh.gif So mafan one. tongue.gif

your Router is one of its kind, other ppl including me when on router, the speed reduced and yours increased doh.gif

i guess you can keep tat router or sell it higher than rm200 if some one is interested in it cause it will BOOST the speed considerably thumbup.gif

i strongly believe the MR3420 wont return this speedtest result, buy it from KKW as he was to sell out now. offer him rm70 and he would be glad to sell it to you

@ Chuah, i strongly believe your place is nearby some Maxis Patch Antenna, it could be your neighbour's rooftop as i used to get this speed when i speedtest infront of a 3 storey shop tat hav some Maxis Patch antenna installed on the top floor. i can even get 6.xxMbps at 8.00Pm (peak time)

The best I could get for now, I think my speed has slightly deteriorated after I flashed my firmware... sweat.gif Oh well, I can't be too fussy.

See later if I have the mood to try out normal USB 2.0 plug-in and USB 3.0 to compare with router combo's speed.

somehow this E1762 is working way better than my SE W705 in this peak hour, weird,.. i never had this E1762 works so well before,. and it DC twice just now and HSPA signal easily come back too as stated in MDMA dialer,.. signal running between -65dBm ~ -71dBm. quite good for this hour i have to say,. can;t wait to see what speed E1762 can get later during graveyard ,.. drool.gif

Those speeds were clocked with router combo, if you are not informed earlier... sad.gif

But then again, PJ is such a hustle city, so I can't complain much when all my housemates are on Maxis and using their data plan on their phones as well. That's only my house, I haven't counted other people yet. tongue.gif

currently is 11.126.10.00.00 firmware,.. u can try anything older than this current firmware and see whether improve or not,. since now we confirm that setting needed to change before u plug in aztech router,..at least u know u wont brick the modem since now not yet graveyard shift, and if not working well u can always flash it back,.

oh when i plug my E1762 in my WIN 7 pc just now, i also update all the E1762 drivers too,. i think newer drivers helps when direct plug in right ?

On second thought, better not. I'm really fed-up to try out so many different firmwares. I'll try out the previous version then. tongue.gif
