Okay, after flashing to the latest firmware and dashboard from Maxis, the signal seems stronger. Was getting around 51% but now, it's around 80%. Speed wise, around the same.

to share my experience... since using e1762 with tplink 3420...
half of the places i go i get speeds faster 3-7mbps using this combination

else if i direct plug in its around 2-4mbps
only at my hometown n certain uncongested areas direct plug in is faster than connect to tp link router...

so all in all it still depends on location... this router have done great speeds for me since early this year smile.gif

it depends on what device u use,

what time u use,

what is your device signal in rssi

and so on,..

i only get 8~10Mbps during 3~6am in my area with nokia x3-02,.. other time during the day is just plain HSPA,.. nod.gif

i do get HSPA+ in my area but only during 1~6am,.. sometimes is 3~6am,. LOL,. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hmmm.. I realise my speedtest on MR3420 dropped..
I direct connect to my pc/mac will get 6.4mbps while on router only get below 5mpbs doh.gif
Anything can I do to increase the speed?

mine direct plug in is crazy like fruitie sometimes,. only when in lucky day then it work like charm,.

with router the E1762 getting 4~5Mbps DL only, so far didnt break through 6Mbps like yours case too,

only with phone then 6Mbps easily achieve,.. hmm.gif

that's why i am using phone direct plug into WIn 7 pc and install the Connectify to share out as Router,. my Router didnt really working recently,.. resting period,. feel like some how my router USB port dont support any higher than 5Mbps DL speed ? hmm.gif hmm.gif
