I'm not Cat6 cable supplier la.
Actually, I don't think there will be significant differences between Cat6 and Cat5/Cat5e. As long as don't use those cheapo or poorly built cable, I believe it somehow will deteriorate the speed. This post has been edited by fruitie: Nov 18 2011, 08:20 PM |

Hahaha I saw the speedtest results. Just for a 200kbps difference would not justify my decision to change to CAT6 cables.
If they differ by 2mbps then maybe I will consider. |

i will take whatever is best,
is different when u come to my situation, as everyone situation is different, as my situation not allow me to sign for streamyx telephone line or unifi or time or penangfon cable because my landlord not allow so my choice only left wireless ISP,. and whatever modem come into my house, they all die and cannot performs in my room, to get best signal i have to move my router out of my room and places it infront of my house under shelter .. that way i can get RSSI : -51dBm signal FULL, and speed very good stable and PING will be decent too,. but as too far away i cannot use wifi, so i dont mind how much the cat 6 cable cost and YES i will still get it even it is just 10kbps extra on my speed or lower a bit PING,.. when u come to situation using 15~ 20 meter LAN, then u will know what i am talking about, |

Anybody who is using Maxis 3G around Sri Petaling / Bukit Jalil area? Do you all find the speed is slow during night time? 0.3 Mbps DL , 0.09 Mbps UL.
