Just bought TPLINK 3420 router and put the device at top floor. Signal strength is about 25-30% and now i could get 2mbps-3mbps download and 1-1.6mbps upload using wireless connection.

Will try again at midnight if I could get higher speed.

if u can, try to use lan cable or try your phone/laptop with the router, result might be better

if u coming to penang island, maxis 3G/broadband connection is amazing especially georgetown ( where i stay till end of this month ).. connection is superb

I came back already. Expected, I was so busy and had no time to online at all.
I was in Georgetown by the way.

Nope, the tower is down. Maxis will evaluate the level of congestion for each area. Will not be that bad my opinion.
I used to get this kind of speed and I'll complain via Twitter if the speed is not up to my satisfactory level.

Me either. Anything less than 2Mbps means something wrong already and most of the time, it is the tower that I connected to was down.
