If its red switches, then it will be red switches, there is no saying like "good red switches or bad".

Cex is selling the Ducky Shine Red switches at RM469, DK9008G2 PBT keycaps red switch is RM439.

Not all keyboard has the full NKRO support under PS/2, but nothing to worry about if its Ducky.

thanks!

i've seen some new keyboards with NKRO support over USB..are they any good? I thought PS2 is better?

Its for future proof purpose marketing i believe, sooner or later, PS/2 will be dropped by the motherboard manufacturer, just not sure when. tongue.gif But the time will come.

Hmm, when it comes to mechanical keyboard, the quality should be tiptop condition already, so nothing to worry about being good or bad, at least that's for me lol.

Yup, thats the way that always being practiced by Ducky and Cherry since very early back.

Blue board come with green(switch) spacebar
Brown board with clear(switch) spacebar
Red with black
Black/Clear(not sure which one) come with grey spacebar

The only exclusion to it i think is the Cherry G80-3494(red switch board), which using red switch with stiffer spring in it.

The reason of it is of course as claimed, our thumb is more powderful and also spacebar key is heavier(thus need stronger/stiffer spring).

For example, the spacebar of Razer BW feel lighter compared to it's single keys.

Thats interesting.
My previous DK9008 with browns have a brown switch on the space bar.
Seems like DUCKY wants to go variable weight for this case.

This is normal for Ducky channel keyboard. This setting applies on almost every Ducky's Cherry MX switch based keyboard. And yes, what you claim is correct that Ducky design it in purpose.

Some info for ducky Channel Keyboards:
MX RED BODY - MX BLACK SPACE BAR
MX BLUE BODY - MX GREEN SPACE BAR
MX BROWN - FULL MX BROWN
MX BLACK - MX CLEAR (needs double confirm)

All ducky Keyboard's back space, enter, shift keys and other larger size keys use the same keys. If your, e.g. Ducky Shining MX Brown Enter or Backspace key uses other switch, kindly contact me to file an exchange.

Thank you

Now a days no much laptop provide Ps/2 port already. However most does have a PS/2 Look alike port, but it's actually a multimedia port.

Clarify for the back switch? So far never heard of this issue, but will keep monitor of this matter
