i would say that you need to have an annual salary that is roughly the same price as the car to be really comfortable with the monthly instalments...

Any where did you get the news that the auto is already here?
If yes then have to hackle the SA to process it ASAP. This post has been edited by braveheart: Jun 14 2012, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(MetalMic @ Jun 14 2012, 10:40 AM) i got a feeling its gonna be much better than MT since shifting up or down will be at the most optimum level. Technically there is no "speed" for CVT gearbox, the "speed" ranges are infinite. CVT gearbox work differently from conventional auto and manual gearboxes, and the speed that you see on the CRZ's CVT (paddle shifts etc) are just simulated gearbox change feel (similar with the previous gen Honda City). If you want full sports oriented CRZ, manual is the best, although it is known that CVT is more efficient and can be faster compared to manual CRZ.Btw CRZ CVT is 6 speed or 7 speed?? Cheers... |

QUOTE(MetalMic @ Jun 13 2012, 09:30 AM) LOL..thanks, its just a simple experience sharing.. Bro where to buy that filter? can also fit in honda city 2009?I think you will fall in love even more after a test drive. You can get a test drive at this Honda showroom in Glenmarie, there is where i got my test drive and my decision was stone cast right after that... Added on June 13, 2012, 9:30 am Coool.... Added on June 13, 2012, 9:43 am Just a hypothesis here, could it be that you are now used to the power of the car and now you tends to throttle it more? Btw i'm also using Petronas Primax 95 here.. If you confirmed that the smell that comes into your car is from the outside, then the problem could lie in the seal or the flap that closes the fresh air intake. In that case you should really send the car back for inspection. I have some funny smell from the aircon too but its not from the outside and this may got something to do with the filter.. If you want to change your aircon filter then can consider this http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/products/acfi...a_c-filter.html Will check with my friend if Blitz has this for CRZ as well... |

Installment 3k(NETT) - 1.3k = 1.7k Petrol 1.7k - 250 = RM1.45k (min petrol) Belum factor in daily expenses, other commitments (handphone/internet), insurance, savings, car maintenance... You will have to spend half of your salary on car installment alone. Not including petrol, insurance, maintenance, daily expenses, saving, etc. You should only consider the purchase with as least RM5k net income. |

QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Jun 14 2012, 06:06 AM) i would say that you need to have an annual salary that is roughly the same price as the car to be really comfortable with the monthly instalments... E.g. $100,000 loan 4% interest over 5 years = $120,000/60months = $2,000/monthly repaymentwhich is around 1/4 of gross income. (excluding fuel, insurance, maintenance, repairs etc) This should keep the car 2nd hand value curve above the outstanding loan amount line graph. So that you can sell the car without the need to top up any cash to settle the loan. Should you need the $2,000 monthly for higher priority objectives in life such as housing, marriage, maternity, illness etc |
