If I remember correctly it have been remove in 2.1 because of too many ways to backup so gokhan thinks it is not necessary. Use hc tool to backup.Cannot find /data/.siyah folder noe in my ext sdcard. any help appreciated to get the backup accomplished. Thanks in advance. |

bought my S2 back in July, it was 2.3.3 back then. Updated firmware twice (current KI2).
But, I noticed newer stock comes with 2.3.4 or 2.3.5. Hmm.. |

QUOTE(snigapoe @ Nov 2 2011, 01:49 PM) How are you going to recover EFS? Copying back the folder does not work as people have reported.Better just use hellcat tool to backup. Its just a small app and the backup is just a click of a button. Less than 5 mins of your time. QUOTE(rattan @ Nov 2 2011, 01:56 PM) What version of market bro the best ? I quite confused already. Some say 3.1.5, some say not good. I am on 3.1.5 , any other version better then this ? I never use 3.1.5 cos i have download problem with it. I was always on version 2 until today. Notice that a new version have been pushed out 3.3.11. I am trying it now and it seems better than 3.1.5 at least for me. You can just try it and if you do not like it, then just uninstall update and you have your old version back.Added on November 2, 2011, 2:21 pm QUOTE(snigapoe @ Nov 2 2011, 02:17 PM) Can u upload the hellcat tool app? [attachmentid=2515117] and make sure the tochlight (the top left) is selected... [attachmentid=2515118] then try and activate the torchlight... on my non-G, the light came on immediately. on the non-G... i noticed it could take 2-3 seconds before the lights come on. or just my fren's phone is faulty? |

It will close itself after sometime. But it does not drain anything or cause wakelock. Its always been like this for me since touch rom. When you exit by pressing back button, messaging is still shown as running in task manager. Check back after sometime it is no longer there.i noticed this happens in CR rom but not in Androidmeda or Batista FH. |

I can say that the new Market is a massive improvement. SO much faster at loading the download screens and functions much better. No more issues at all
