Ya, bro For 1.4Ghz processor, I would say this much reasonable enough.. even one of my fren has ARC, he complaining about Battery finish in half day... which ARC only has 1 ghz processor...

If my memory doesn't fail me, you don't need to charge it for 8 hours.

yup no need. just use for few days to fully optimize the battery.

Had a hands on Galaxy W @ Festival City Mall at a Samsung... stall??? (Don't know how to describe but it's not a shop, not a store... but in the middle of walk way that type). It sells mainly samsung and a portion of other brands. Asked price, RM999, no free MicroSD but say free "Protector". Asked warranty, One year, if register online, got another year "customer service". I just tell what I heard. Maybe I think too much but I don't think that mean warranty. Anyway, it's too expensive. Asked him to let me touch the phone. He even booted the phone up but wrapped in the plastic used to wrap food/vege. The screen still works though. I love the way to unlock the phone. Basic interface very very smooth but I touched it upon boot up and felt some lagginess. Gone after a while. Don't get to try other things as I think that is a set for sale, don't dare to touch other thing. If demo set then I sure cincai play =P. He took out from the shelf for me to touch so I pay some respect to him. No choice. hahaha

Do you all think price will drop till 800-ish by next year?? cuz ppl around my area selling 999. but they did mention it's almost as good as S2, only the cheaper version...

considered as an upgrade to me, everything is smooth as silk.
The only thing that bugged me is my battery seems to take forever to charge to 100%, just stopped at 99% for 2-3hours.. anyone experienced that?

Yeap me too. But guess once it is fully charged to 100%, I can use it a lot longer than when I charge it to 99% only.

How do you display the battery in percentage??

go to settings>about phone> status or go download the battery widget from the market .. then it will display the battery in percentage.. the latter one is easier if u want to monitor ur battery level most of the time




my phone took around 3 hrs to charge to 99%, then another 2-3 hours to charge it to 100%. This is ridiculous! my SL last time took 3 hours to charge its 1650mAH battery to 100% compare to this phone battery 1500mAH..

Hope this is the software problem.. cos i use battery calibration (download from mkt) to monitor the voltage, it shows 4200 mV @ 99%.. 4200 mV is considered as "fully charged" for a LI-ION battery as its safe range from 3–4.2V

just buy from SEP then will have 2year warranty

i aso charge until 99% now...and keep charging still cant hit 100%

For resales value. Sell after 1 year still got 1 year warranty left, buyer and seller happy

but me not gogin for resales
coz will let my parents use it
and SEP sell in RRP price @@
