Got mine at Lowyat last Saturday for rm950. Added another rm20 for fingerprint-proof screen protector. No free microSD though So far everything is fairly good. Apps like Twitter, FB, FXcamera, Solo Guitar, Google Map runs perfect. Haven't tried any heavy games yet. The cons would be the 351mb RAM. Starts to build up and causes occasional hang. Read it on GSMarena before bought it and it stated there that Galaxy W should have 512mb RAM. Weird.

QUOTE(Sethmaster @ Oct 31 2011, 03:07 PM) you should download the free Advanced Task Killer or just use the default samsung apps widget. help you free up memory instantly. I also haven't try any heavy 3d games, yet. Will inform results when I do, no problem. Yeah I've been freeing up memory using the default task manager. So far it helps. Thanks for the advice Anyone tried the Juice Defender battery saver app? Does it really work?

QUOTE(N33d @ Nov 5 2011, 05:29 PM) bought this phone few days ago after trade in my SL considered as an upgrade to me, everything is smooth as silk. The only thing that bugged me is my battery seems to take forever to charge to 100%, just stopped at 99% for 2-3hours.. anyone experienced that? Yeap me too. But guess once it is fully charged to 100%, I can use it a lot longer than when I charge it to 99% only.

QUOTE(akash3656 @ Nov 5 2011, 10:23 PM) Funny thing is, a couple of months ago, king of budget phones was the Huawei Ideos X5.... Now bigger and more established companies are hitting the <1k range HARD. Sony Ericson and Samsung hit Huawei hard. Oh, and I think Huawei still has not released gingerbread for the X5. They have a gingerbread firmware lurking around for another model (OC version of X5), but it has a really ugly skin over android, unlike the X5 which has stock android) Yeah. At first I wanted to get a new phone was a couple of months back then. It was Galaxy Ace. Then I waited for the Apple's Keynote on iPhone4s. Too expensive. So I thought of getting either a SE Ray, Huawei x5 or a CSL Mi410 (Huawei x6 equivalent). Finally after sleepless nights, Galaxy W finally arrived and it was like a dream come true. A wonderful phone under rm1k. I couldn't ask more » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and it could be nicer if the video has touch focus feature. hope there'll be fix/updates for this
