omg...just a simple click to upgrade

ok, got back my lumia 710 and full GPS is working i guess when they change the motherboard, they change the whole phone(except for battery and backcover; which i kept) because my phone that i sent i already changed the screen protector, now its using the original one back. anyway, i'm happy now, thank you NOKIA

awesome!....mine still "under testing" when i called them yesterday...apparently the GPS worked one day but then didnt work the next day so its back to testing...i forgot to ask if they changed the part but i told them again to do it..so

Apparently there will be 2 diff version on Tango. One is for the low-end phone such as Lumia 610 and another one is the upgrade from Mango...But the name is a bit off though...Mango Refresh?

sometimes i regret getting this phone.. shud just get one X straight

my gps does not seem to be working.
after setting the location,i cant get the phone to follow the direction of my car moving, and also the voice only comes out during the first few second and after that it get silent.
did my lumia starting to fault?

Owned. Buy kancil expect the performance like ferrari.

i did have the same problem. try install GPSINFO and then check your gps either a-gps or full gps under open sky. if a-gps all the way, its hardware issue, send your phone to nokia care centre. you can use the pics that i've posted thats showing the different of phone that only has a-gps to full gps.

done that, fortunately my gpd shown full gps .
resolve the problem with hard reset and reinstall of the map.
so far working fine for a few kilometers test drive.
will test it tommorw while in route to tropicana city mall.

even galaxy W also can do GPS. why cant our phone?

got my phone back and its working!!! full GPS satellite mode!!

tested a little while walking on nokia drive 1.0 and it was working fine and GPSinfo managed to track my speed and everything fine





now i have to go through the process of reinstalling all the apps back one by one

Good news over there hey ! So Sir how long does it take ? And we ask them to change a motherboard ?

about 2 weeks could be less if they don't do too much "Testing"

you should keep telling/demand them you want the motherboard changed if not you going to get the "software upgrade" which will take about one week and wont solve anything because its a hardware issue.

just stress to them that its a hardware issue, showing them the photo bro dausjkach shared wont hurt either

Try go to Amcorp mall nokia took 2-3 days to get my Nokia N9 motherboard replaced

any1 there tried fully unlock?

Sent my 710 to the service center in plaza berjaya. The guy told me the need to conduct a test 1st. Hopefully they will change the mobo since they told me that there were other 710 users made the same complain too

Anyways, I saw the skin for 710 is up for grab at 40bucks at that store

the skin you mean the coloured back covers or the rubber protective case?...

if its the protective case its not worth it lol..i got one at the last pc fair for rm20 and its not that great...all the buttons are hard to press and it becomes extra hard to press the camera button properly...i had to cut a little of the joints of the buttons to make it easier to press also not as grippy as i hoped it be.. oh well better than nothing hope to see other brands casing for sale soon..
