yeah of course....but like the last time, when i got my phone back, i got it back with it in the old firmware, with nokia drive/maps version 1.0....so i had to go home and update and install nokia maps 2.0 and then get gpsinfo app to check everything properly....

Technical issues aside, so hows the sale of lumias in malaysia? will it challenge android supremacy? but it's apparent in kl that most of the phone vendors recommend android; in this case samsung galaxy w. but i just dont know, i admit android is good and interesting, but i was more interested with windows OS. maybe because it's different...

as a sales person, sure i will praise the one who can earn me more commission + incentive. all abt marketing strategy, altho samsung hv their very "dirty" rules, their advertisement too powerful compared to nokia. what do u think if nokia not goin to update their current lumia series to Apollo? sell your current mango's hp?

Yesterday my 710 GPS problem still can't resolve by Nokia care centre, they even said they call Nokia Malaysia people and Nokia people said the 710 only support A-GPS. I point out that, why in the ads on Lumia 710 state the phone support both GPS and A-GPS? The Nokia support people was speechless. So I'm planning to let go Nokia and go for HTC Windows Phone.

that's the problem, always talk to the technician directly. from my previous experience, u can ask to meet the technician face to face to complain your problem at the centre.

Actually I already spoken to the technician on the phone. When I collect the phone at the counter, the admin told me the technician contacted Nokia Malaysia about the problem and insist the 710 only support A-GPS. I said to myself SCREW IT!!! I just took back the 710.

how about sending to another nokia centre bro? because they put into their website that the lumia 710 support A-GPS AND GPS. sometimes the laziness of a few people indirectly affect sales of the product as a whole...such an unfortunate things to happen...

Marketing Nokia always win but what they can't win is quality assurance in their product and technical support.
Just imagine a user bought the phone then it lags then they change brand the perspective will change then due to bad brainwash among friends, vendor, reviews so people have this perspective of the product. Today is about branding and status. If u see someone holding Samsung it's common, if u see someone holding an iPhone he is rich, if someone holds a Nokia? If someone holds a htc its usually not bad if someone hold a Sony Ericsson its cheap

what do u all think if lumia series price slash abt 20-30% with the bad news of non upgrade able to apollo?
for me i can still accept not goin to apollo, but what i worry is nokia/microsoft discontinued their support on lumia/mango series.

New update from nokia soon!

"...includes Windows Phone Mango Refresh (Tango) changes such as enhances MMS capabilities, etc,. Also Nokia has added Internet sharing features in the upcoming update...."
WMPoweruser

click the link for the full article

so does this mean that we will no longer be running windows phone 7.5 mango but instead after the update, using windows phone Tango?

i thought tango was for the lower end devices like the 610??

Their limiting free storage to 7GB, but current user may claim their free 25GB(not sure how this works though). Also desktop client available.
