emm... I also had bad experience with sri staff b4.
It was quite long ago when they just start/ open at lowyat.
I bought few hardware, just to upgrade my pc and ask their staff to install the motherboard , harddisk etc... .
The salesman promise and said it will be assemble in 30min, so i went window shopping and came back to found that they havent start doing their job.
I waited for around 1-2 hour and when i approved the technician , the technician
,sri staff with very rude say " wah , buy so few thing , also can ar , where got ppl buy thing like that one , ppl buy whole set one, like that better don buy.

Wow....if i haven paid, i will certainly not going to buy from them...

I never saw that guy now.. maybe kena Fire already....

seem more like only a best place for windows shopping ler.

i bought a pc system from sri comp about 2 years ago when i came back to malaysia, their prices are slightly higher than all the other shops but i figured higher price = quality
when i got home i get a faulty philips monitor, sometimes the display will turn yellowish, went to claim warranty 3 times, says fixed but took it home still the same even until today, waste of time and energy to take it back and forth
btw the monitor is still around for thrashing

my boss bought a hard disk, 120GB from them, and within 1 year, it spoil, then send back for waranty, but then that sri comp didnt do anything to it, just keep it for 2 months, then tell my boss it is ok 1...
then my boss test it, and found it is still spoil 1, and send back again....
then the guy in sri comp told my boss it is not warranty anymore since it is more than 1year already, .....so beware to buy thing or send thing back to sri comp for waranty....cannot trust 1

so you're implying that companies that have lotsa staff dun need to supervise their staff lah? so in that case walmart which has more than 100000 employees worldwide dun need to have friendly, helpful staff lor? open your eyes, that's what supervisors are for! do you know what's customer satisfaction? bet you dont

my own experience a few days ago was when i bought the belkin surge protector, which offers lifetime warranty and warranty for attached electrical products which are damaged while connected to the surge protector. So i asked the girl cashier when i was paying 'so where do i claim warranty?' she said 'lei kong mat yeh ar?'. i know this is not a big prob, but at least reply me in english lah, it's not like everyone in kl speaks canto rite. then i proceeded to another end of the shop and asked the ppl at the hardware corner, all of them talked to me in canto even if i asked in english! man i cant even speak proper canto nor understand lotsa canto. imagine if i dun understand a word of it. in the end, staff ask other staff, after about 5 ppl only 1 guy came out n say that cant claim warranty from them. sigh, i rather them have 1 knowledgable and helpful staff over having 5 idiots who can't even do things right.

i like to go to Thundermatch to shop my computer parts....
they are friendly also!!

Sri Comp, most of the people rude, muka masam, and unfriendly the way they communicate with customer.

Actually sometimes I notice alot of the "SALESMAN" don't know what are they talking about wan lah. So u have to be savvy your self.

One day my friend when to a "SALESMAN" and ask about computer stuff, my friend wanted a freaking POWERFUL computer and willing to spend at least 10k on his new comp. That stupid "SALESMAN" con him like hell tell him all sorts of old stuff and put at the price of the latest stuff. My friend that knows nothing much about computers think that he is an expert, so happen I was there at that time and i greated him and my friend ask me to hear that SALESMANs specs whether it is a good buy with his 10k cash in his pocket at that time. That stupid SALESMAN think I don't know anything and when on blab.

I ask my friend to buy the oposite site and config him a kick ass machine to play his DOOM3 and HALF LIFE game.

oh yeah that time DOOM3 just came out I think... and his computer can play near full details and everything ON. PRETTY POWER for that time.

I did buy some stuff from them before. Advise, make sure you know what you want (the brand, the model etc) pick it up, pay and leave.

I did enquire from them the price for a mobo, processor and RAM. The guy quoted and said have to add RM20 becos not buying full set from them. I said never mind, TQ. In my mind I said "U go and FLY KITE".

who will be the one incharge design it then?

the ppl there r so kind
they took out several products n explain 1 by 1 the pros n cons
later the help me install the hdd 2 the casing n make partition for me

sri com.... hahaa... i fark the stuff up.. and den a guy come to me... quite old... maybe some1 big there... nicely tok to me.... "if u want to replace a new HDD den u need to add another RM20"..... If that stuff not lazy to ask his boss and tell me whats the solution... ask him whats the solution for this if i wanted a working HDD... lucky that HDD is in warranty period.... that blardy stuff say buy new wan... i say.... if i want to buy new wan.... i dun wan to buy here.... but i want u to replace a new 1 for me... i dun mind add in some money...... i fark him up until all customer looking at me and him.. hahaha i was so tulan with that guy.... he keep asking me u so mad also nothing can be done.... den i say.... i want to see ur boss now... i dun wan to tok with u.... den only tat old guy came.... ahhahaha CELAKA betui.....

Actually is not my HDD but my fren wan... my advice... dun buy there also... sevice not good..... i dun mind to pay more if the after sales service is good.... not like that lan ciao sri computer..... damm ass....
