The local automotive is missing out alot on better diesel variants due to our diesel standards.
the question is why the delay... |

Will it be more pricey than the current tdci? Really nid to change my car d.... but it's worth the wait with all the new features, deduction price because of AFTA some more. can reduce worries for the spare part since it's manufacture in thailand for 2012 model. New focus is coming and you can book yours for a rm500 deposit at any sdac in kl.
however - the current focus is better ( if in diesel). better handling and consumption as well a simple rm3k remap can get it to 170 horses with 400nm of torque!!!!! On the interior, the mk3 focus wins hands down lol. |

And more interesting is 1400km distance per full tank of diesel! Diesel rocks! |

I'd expect better. And more interesting is 1400km distance per full tank of diesel! Diesel rocks! Oh yeah, and diesel rocks, fully agreed. |

Too bad. The FC of the 1.6 petrol I had was really bad. 140 already 9l/100 km or so... I could drive the much bigger Galaxy with 1.6 TDCi at 160-180 with 7-8l/100 km.

QUOTE(gahpadu @ Aug 10 2012, 08:40 AM) agreed. for remap...TDCI maybe can makan FD2R up to 200kmh but then surely makan asap after that. Didn't dare to play top speed as I was actually seriously in a hurry that time. hardware modded + remap maybe can bring TDCi up to 240-250kmh only. Surely top speed kalah kaw-kaw as the TDCi stock HP is only 130HP... actually at 180km/h the Type R already started to pull away slowly. But there's always an obstacle infront (lorry slow car etc) so he still has to slow down a lot. That is when the TDCi really shines. Maybe he thought I want to race with him.. I don't know. But seems like he is in a hurry as well. By the way my car is stock standard. No remaps.. not even sunat yet LOL. But speed at 200km/h sure is stable though since then I've yet drive the car anymore than 130km/h. |
