QUOTE(-Dan @ Nov 10 2011, 10:41 AM) I was playing around la. When you progress to weighted pullups, your BW becomes baby easy.Added on November 10, 2011, 7:55 pm QUOTE(razorboy @ Nov 10 2011, 11:48 AM) You boys do realize Lat pulldown strength doesn't transfer to pull up strength right? Start off with some negatives or with a stool to have one leg supported to slowly build it up. Most of the time it's not that one don't have the strength for it, but rather their CNS are not used to it Correct! Confucius say man on top and woman on top even if in art of procreation has vast difference! This post has been edited by darklight79: Nov 10 2011, 07:55 PM |

We tried Mohito flavour at SL Corner during second round. Not bad but we hate the crowd.

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Nov 15 2011, 08:01 AM) guys, i've been reading a lot about creatine, and thinking to buy it coz the articles promotes creatine as the best supplements for muscle gaining. any advice? right now im just taking whey protein as my main supplement. and usually i go to the gym for like 3-4 times a week. thanks Creatine works. It's one of the supps which have been proven to work.Added on November 15, 2011, 6:06 pm QUOTE(Alphaproject @ Nov 15 2011, 10:37 AM) u guys are good when it comes to proper diet... i gave up already... fark now only with up cardio just to burn calories.... fark the proper diet... You can't out train a bad diet. Bodybuilder can cut with diet alone and no cardio. But they can't cut with cardio alone and a bad diet. And no offense, you seriously need to cut to show that impressive mass underneath the bodyfat. Stick with it. Perseverance bro. This post has been edited by darklight79: Nov 15 2011, 06:06 PM |

QUOTE(andyfriends @ Nov 16 2011, 03:53 PM) You know? Even I, with my lower back injury + 3 surgeries done on it have made an effort to work all bodyparts. Even a BASIC trainee knows not to do each bodypart EVERYday. Bodybuilding = recovery = bodybuilding. I would expect you to read at least one damn sticky before you post nonsense like this. OR are you deliberately being a troll? Because it's not funny. Go ask other regs if I normally explode like this. That post about your workout routine was pathetic. |

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Nov 17 2011, 03:58 AM) i think, biceps are one of my major weakness though. these are my routines for biceps though, is it enough? i use 10 kg dumbbell, and with ez bar, i can go for like 15 kg. need ur guys punya advice a lil bit. oh ya, i train my biceps along with my back. Such high volume. Tsk. My arm workout takes less than half hour and I already have striation on both heads of my triceps, mikehuan bears witness when he trained with me. point is, focusing on biceps too much when some people can't even pull up bodyweight more than 10 times is moot. not all of us are genetically given. too high volume is overkill.alternate biceps curls : 8-10 reps with 4 sets ez bar curl : 8-10 reps with 3 sets pull ups : 5-7 reps with 3 sets do i suppose to use much heavier dumbbell and ez bar or probably just use the weight that i can lift easily and do reps for like 12-15 times? sometimes i confuse juga coz whenever i train my chest, just use heavier weights, then can rasa my chest kembang2 skit, but not with my biceps. |

QUOTE(ZintanthraX @ Nov 17 2011, 11:25 AM) so does that means for bicep, we should lessen the volume but increase the weight that we lift? lesser type of exercise? I'm not saying leave direct arm work alone. Nor am I saying focus on exclusively the big 3. I'm not a firm believer in the big 3 is all you need to build big arms. But excessive volume is overkill. More doesn't mean better. |

QUOTE(ZintanthraX @ Nov 18 2011, 11:25 AM) don't getme wrong. i spend more cos more rest in between. bis and tris are very exhausting. and i dont put a duration limit to my work out, which means it may take an hour, 2 hours, or any hours. the sets and reps are still constant. Then start timing. You're spending too long 1.5 hours just for arms??? No wonder you're not growing. |

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Nov 18 2011, 12:30 PM) Way too long for arms, imo. Smaller muscle groups don't need that much rest times in between sets. You can't go too heavy for arms anyways if you're doing with strict form That's the thing I don't get, not specifically targeting Zinanthrax here. Some people in my gym can spend hours on bi's and tri's, HOURS! But they can't do a single chin up. Or if they can, they do half assed reps. |

FF is worth it. Ghetto gyms can be overrated. Or join me at TF! LOL! You are a very good workout partner. Especially listening to my jokes while I'm benching 225.
