nope. I play the occasional games on my Ipad but that's about it. The weird thing is that my workouts are always at least 8 hours before bedtime(10 - 12) and by 9 I will be very sleepy, but the moment I lay on my bed, Man. I toss and turn ,sleep sideways, sleep rightside up, sleep leftside down, sleep up, sleep down, face up, face down and I can't get no sleep. I fall asleep consistently after 4 or 5 am. And I wake up shit ass early in the morning and I don't do afternoon naps. This shit is killing me. I'm cutting like mad, exhausted and I can barely sleep. zzzz.

ZMA's have always been tout to be good to help guys sleep but nothing really supports that claim unless one is deprived in zing, magnesium or vitamin b6 or b 12 i cant remember. Dorian Yates' GH Blast seemed to get very good reviews, and I'm that desperate to be sleeping regularly again that I am actually considering ZMA's and GH Blast. Man this shit suck ass.

Not to mention it's really starting to affect my performance during my workouts, I know cutting calories and going low on carbs will take a toll but this insomnia thing is taking a shit load out of me
*
Did you try getting off carb cycling to see if your insomnia is caused by it? Would suck to need supps just to get some sleep

Well I have on and off insomnia problems too. What I usually do is to get out of bed and read a book, watch a movie or whatever until I'm sure I can sleep and then go back to bed.

You can't let your body be used to tossing and turning in bed, it will just get worse. This definitely helped my problem

When you see me posting shit here at ungodly hours you will know I can't sleep lol

Really need to control the binge this time around

fee per month? nice equipments. got soo many
*
I think its 139 per month, and gets cheaper if you take 3, 6, 12 months commitment. Plus membership fees. Go and check it yourself you are in klang right?

@pedro yeah man its alright, not so crowded and more serious people there. Not many douches since the owner would sometimes come up and check. Got a competitive bber training regularly there as well!

Only bad thing is no eye candy to look at sad.gif.

I'm a bit confused about recovery and progress , if you are on a split (bodypart or like me , exercise specific) , is it ok to work a bodypart once every 8 - 10 days ?

I've read that proponents of Fullbody workouts (SS , 5x5 ),Push/Pull or upper lower splits recommend working a bodypart twice a week if you are new (or in my case , not reaching my certain targets / genetic limits).

Any experiences on this ?

Reason is , while i do see strength & weight (whether muscle or fat), it's minimal compared to what Linear progression would have me achieve in 4 months.
*
how long have you been training? gotta factor in the fact that gains wont be as fast the longer you train. from your post i still dont know which routine you're on.

on another note, my gym will have a squat rack next week! owner was really nice, went around asking members what improvements they can think of for the gym and actually executing them! wonder would it be too much to ask for a power rack and lat pulldown machine next lol.

congrats on the big weight loss. great achievement there. well im not gonna fine tune an already good program so i suggest you stick to it and get your poundages up. you're doing fine imo and as long as you're progressing i dont see anything wrong here. progress might be slower but its the same for everyone. beginner gains can only last so long.

Stupid question. Can i squat with my knee ligament injured? Stopped it for half year and kinda miss it now...
*
no one would be able to answer for sure, squats are different for everyone. the only way for you to find out is to squat and see if you still have pain.

buddied up with one of the big guys in the gym who always soloed his routines, like me.

playing with supersets and 4 sets of a modified defranco shoulder shocker (imho i think these guys came up with it first, old school lifter) and my delts were NEVER this sore. learnt 3 new exercises and one great rear cable workout.

learnt something about intensity. im not doing enough. not by a long shot.

You guys still don't get it.

Diet is what determines if you gain or lose, training is just a little part of it.
