Keep your head down. Do your shit. If you're doing it right results will come and people will notice. That's all to it.

And that's what I've been taught all my life. Used to be in archery and basketball and they both share the same concept. I don't see how bbing would be any different.

Whether OTHER people juice or not should not even bother you. You keep your line of sight to your goal.

And totally agree. Growth for me was way better when I started doing lower reps with higher weights. PR's are achieved faster too.

2xBW deadlift without straps achieved! but only 1 rep la haha. tried second rep strength suddenly dropped, dont know why that happened.

lol jamis overthinking things. of course we'll get stronger man, and not just your back muscles if its squats and deads. imo these 2 have the most carryover to functional strength.

you still can go heavy, just stop one rep from failure. if you're using bars that is. db's usually second last and last set is to failure for me.

this new gym im going is not bad too. one of the regs is a competitive bb'er, and the environment more intense than ff. lotsa heavy weights being moved around.

I disagree though. From a markting pov, imo its pretty okay to use regular people for commercial shoots. that vid is to attract regular peopl. Using buffed up guys would only scare and intimidate those who never step into a gym before.

Why would they show the lighter dbs instead of the heaviest they have there? And the guy curling?

Experienced lifters are a small percentage of the market that they are aiming for. And I'm sure all the regs here wouldn't be going to the gym just because they have seen the vid. We would most likely have surveyed the area for any gyms available.
