Added on December 29, 2011, 12:48 ambrembo cover is worst enough, but some car that doesn't have disc brake at the back but use those fake disc brake, thats like the ultimate ah beng.

you can just use touch up paint,cheap and easy

But i'm thking to do LED light on door handle something like BMW...it won't on all the time. Will only on when the car is unlock...then after 10s will fed off..... still in my project plan...

hey bro. i encounter this b4 but mine not reach red line. when i drive 10~15 mins my temp raised up to 1 bar above middle then continue drive will drop back to middle level. Lastly i changed the thermostat. The thermostat not functioning properly at the rated temp. It open too slow. After change thermostat, my temp below middle level now. Becoz of this bloody thermostat, its caused many of my rad hose hardened. I change all my hose include the tiny hose before the thermostat.

Bloody culprit was the thermostat.

go hardware shop sure got, paint specially matched for proton / honda / toyota etc.
its a small glass jar, like 2cm x 4cm small.
ikano got, one utama got, ss2 across police station also got.

Usually wings are more suitable for rear wheel drive car and those who has wing or a bench on the rear bonnet seldom have any performance at all

Had gt wing before n I would say it does contribute stability to FF car also. Especially during high speed off the small hill 'parit' bridge. Can really feel the car sticking to the road. Before that, can feel the car 'jump' after cross the bridge. After install, the car just felt like sticking onto the road.. But there is a side effect. Top speed come slower n LOWER! That was when I still use 4g15.

wira 1.3 doortrim. used to have this for 4-5years, changed em to evo3 doortrim halfcut, covered em all with leather, bought 4 sets of power window, now im stuck at the switch socket. cant find socket for the driver's main power window switch...


can u define that "rosak"? not working at all?

Added on December 29, 2011, 8:26 pmim working on my wira now, to revive it, already did the doortrim, overhaul the engine and change the pistons,so 1.3-1.5, waiting for the mivec front bodykits to arrive, and plan to paint it afterwards. probably do some ICE thingy,maybe tinted dark a bit, change the seats to semi bucket.....
this consider ah beng oso? cuz the looks later will seem to be more sporty altho it will only runs on 1.5 capabilities...
got reasons to revive my wira this way, cuz the paint is fading,my rear bumper pecah already since a year ago cuz hit n run by a motorcycle during traffic jam, the stock seats' cushion is flat already, every road-bump will result in back pain and butt pain, i havent enjoyed a song inside the wira for almost 9months due to the broken cd-vcd player, and the stock doortrim wira 1.3 is sux. thats y im planning to revive the wira into a new look, as i stated before....will my wira be considered ah beng oso?huhu

*overall costs for reviving this wira is nearly the same as buying a recond/ 2nd hand honda b16, give n take. but i love this wira, i decided not to sell it and revive it.

Roughly how much it cost for u to do the modification on changing the block and piston to 1.5? Do u endorse with JPJ after that? I am planning on that also.

Guys, wira 1.3/1.5 use the same front spring?...wira 1.6/waja 1.6 uses the same rear spring or different?

Oh, i took back my wira yesterday, the mech says its the radiator pipe leakage, they spent one whole day checking with no avail, finally took to another shop where they measure got pressure drop, hence deduced its the radiator pipe, so total spent 200 for everything . Radiator pipe, flushing the radiator , add new coolant and workmanship.

Sigh. Just spent 200+ recently for servicing, now..
