Cruising at high speed (for my wira ) at 120-140km/h today saw my temperature gauge rises alarmingly to the red line,.. again, previously already check for leakage but there's no problem, sigh so frustrated with the wira now, thinking of selling it off for a persona or something but i kinda like the wira as well.

Google'd and saw some guy says is the radiator problem, too old or something or the radiator cap, anyone know how much these thing cost?

Radiator service before? water pump how long didnt change? radiator cap oil already?

i thought u just use ori evo 3 alternator..

sometimes wira does giv problem which cause a lot of headache...
but after u fix it all...
it's a very good car to your service...

btw i want to change to crystal smoke headlamp!! its poisoning me...hehehe...anyone got suggestion where can find nice one?? or anyone selling off??

Well I'm using it right now HEHE. RM250 is consider cheap, last time I bought it around RM290. But there is one fully smoked whereby the headlamp glass came with dark brown color. That want looks great, you can get it at BROTHER shop.

Radiator cap very cheap only ler, no problems
Check for all those things first before the last and most people won't even think of which is a faulty meter cluster XD
Proton is known for that as well

i'm using like that one. 3-4 years already. but the black paint started to peel off already.

got change ATF oil every 20k km? change gearbox oil filter every 40k km?

new bumper, spoiler, back bonnet plate cover and front bonnet?
how much the damage?

EDIT: now only notice the side skirt and fender/tyre there.

My alternator also recond one. Takut2 also. First time it spoilt, it takes away along with a few light bulbs, fuses, n a battery!

It is base on luck really.....even new items can cause major catastrophe as well

My previous recond alternator lasts me from 2005 till this year before I changed

radiator cap faulty can cause overheating??

Did you stop or continue driving when reach red-line ?

My case, it reach red line. But I continue drive for >30 minutes. Then it drops back to middle there.
No smoke/steam comes out.
Happens few times a week.
Radiator cap is fine. No radiator water loss/leak. Fans all working.
Finally mechanic says is the VDO meter cluster temperature faulty. I did not change it though.

Yes. It needs pressure to work, but if the seal is leaking, the steam/hot air leaks out, and you will run low on radiator water/coolant.

If can long time ord changed lo...not ngam...last time mine is GSR...just tat day no stock..otherwise i will use back GSR one....

Out of sudden my player sot sot.......then feel something weird on car...faster chk on the volt meter...shown 10v....scary....faster u turn to my foreman there.....

Last 2 days...my water temp beep.......first chk...Radiator fan..working......next day chk...radiator no water...fill in...then found out is the spare tank hose...crack....lucky...scare out of me.....

You caught me there. Flew away last 2 Sundays.

Damage around RM 1.3k, including new exhaust tip. Changed to single round tip from twin tip.

Hopefully not too ah beng or macha-y look.

Sometime i'm so curious about Ah Beng...how to define as ah beng? Is that change bodykit...do bodykit consider ah beng? or add lots LED consider ah beng.....so curious..

I just change bodykit to ViDesign, a lot of my friends said my car looks like LALA But those Evo or Scooby with bodykit, they said looks great. *HaHa* depend on the people how they define ah beng. Some says bodykit= ah beng, or some says LED= ah beng.
