hi guys,

Q8 semi-syn 10w40 or Eneos (Semi Synthetic) SM/CF 10W40 where to buy qenuine in KL? How much is the pricing? i heard alot of fake oil merchant. I need do to servicing soon.

Im a wira 1.5L Auto sedan driver. Year of manufacture 2000 iinm but recently i encounter gearbox problem when during early morning or cold mode whereby slow response between 2 to 3 gears. Its like gear not shifting but the rpm rev until 2~3k. Its delay shifting about 3 sec. after that, its shifting as usual.

Back in years May 2010 i encounter GB problem also whereby its wont shift gear from 2~3. Getting worst day by day. All foremen said gearbox problem but when i decided to change gearbox the day it run fine. Therefore the foremen said try change back to original ATF and new filter which last me about 1.5 years until last week i decided to change ATF oil again but it wont solve the problem i encounter when GB in cold mode but slightly better in response. The delay is shorten by 1 sec. This time i use Toyota T-IV atf oil as requested by me.

btw may i know wira 1.5gli auto 2000 is running on svdo? where to get tuning?

hey. how to adjust the throttle body rpm? counter counterclock wise to increase and clock wise to reduce?

1st of all, your is injection or carburetor? injection normally won't need to adjust one.
if not mistaken counter clock wise to reduce.

bro. how to check injection or carburator. mine is 1.5gli auto 2000. all in my mind should be injection woh. i did threebond ytd, now need to adjust back the idling time. somehow now i donu why my idle rpm is 900 but with aircond and shift D reduced to almost like 500 and even sometimes donu why lower then 500 until about 200 rpm when reversing engine die.

2000 should be injection kot. Just see the top of engine got one big black round plastic or not, if got is carburetor.

ohh. i think you mean the air filter round plastic like my old proton saga. my wira dont have those.

hey bro. i encounter this b4 but mine not reach red line. when i drive 10~15 mins my temp raised up to 1 bar above middle then continue drive will drop back to middle level. Lastly i changed the thermostat. The thermostat not functioning properly at the rated temp. It open too slow. After change thermostat, my temp below middle level now. Becoz of this bloody thermostat, its caused many of my rad hose hardened. I change all my hose include the tiny hose before the thermostat.

Bloody culprit was the thermostat.
