Had gt wing before n I would say it does contribute stability to FF car also. Especially during high speed off the small hill 'parit' bridge. Can really feel the car sticking to the road. Before that, can feel the car 'jump' after cross the bridge. After install, the car just felt like sticking onto the road.. But there is a side effect. Top speed come slower n LOWER! That was when I still use 4g15.

no matter FF, MR, RR, FR, 4WD the air flow still same...

Why only FR need wing? and not FF??

Why original Honda Integra all default have Spoiler? Why Honda FD also with spoiler?
*
Read here on why FF do not need spoilers

For me it makes sense on the less grip and more grip thing for better acceleration..if FF use spoiler the drag is at behind when air passes the spoiler thus the front is not getting any grip so poorer acceleration but if FR the drag will create more grip and better acceleration when the air passes the spoiler...

Plus Wira is FF and without performance mods with spoiler you are getting less acceleration thus higher FC...it's pure Ah Beng....ya sure your car will stick to the ground more and top speed is bad which has been mention so when you want to reach top speed more....you perah more minyak just to get it....FC out la

Integra and FD2 is front wheel drive and have default spoiler but at least they have the engine which overcome poor acceleration......plus they need the air pressure to keep the car on the road....which prevents the car from flying all over the place thus that default spoiler is not for show

Civic Type R (FD2) is 200 + HP on stock compare to a Wira stock is a world of difference...

Roughly how much it cost for u to do the modification on changing the block and piston to 1.5? Do u endorse with JPJ after that? I am planning on that also.  hmm.gif

Change block to 1.5, then find Waja crankshaft and piston, car become monster adi.. drool.gif

Guys, wira 1.3/1.5 use the same front spring?...wira 1.6/waja 1.6 uses the same rear spring or different?
*
Guess Wira 1.3 & 1.5 front same spring, nvr heard got different spring for these 2 models.

Wira 1.6 rear is same with Waja, but different hardness. Last time I used Waja rear spring, very hard and high ..

At least Wira 1.6 got half of Type-R HP. tongue.gif

On normal passenger car I do think it is just for aesthetic purpose. But if done correctly it does look nice.

I'm driving wira 1.3 a/b...going to change my spring and abs soon...is it better to use stock front spring + waja/wira1.6 rear spring or front + rear waja/wira 1.6 rear?...

i want my ride to be little higher...as previous owner use lowered spring if not mistaken...will hit the front hook whenever i'm going down from mall parking lot... doh.gif

1.6 is half and 1.8 is 65% of FD2...still a big gap lehhhh in HP

Want to look nice and ganas and have money to spend on it..anyone can put spoiler but still i rather save the money and do the engine first rather than look nice and fork out more money on fuel... whistling.gif

Anyway, i like Wira with a smooth streamline without spoiler, lowered and have a simple lip, skirting and rear lip on it....

Couple with a MIVEC engine....confirm simple and yet powerful sleeper Wira..intend to do this...

Wira sedan without spoiler feels like male chicken without the ekor leh. tongue.gif

Something small and nice will fit perfectly on the sedan bonnet IMO, but I myself haven't found any spoiler that I like. sad.gif

Waja parts IINM is about 1k, need to take out the block and rebore it, expect 1k on there. You'll need piggyback like e-manage + dyno tuning, about 1.5k.

HP maybe can get around 110.

i didnt change the block, just bore it, cuz my foreman said that doesnt need to change it, the 1.3 can bore up to 3times max, so i did only 1 time...btw, mine is carb.love the carb response.
bearing, belting, and most of the thingy for general overhaul, replace all 4 absorbers, clutch changed to waja 1.6, costs 2.8k..... and did some engineering= balancing to my rims also, since the block sent to engineering, i decided to sent my rims also....its genuine sparco, i guess its better for me to repair it than buy vip imitation rims , looks maybe good but handling sux.

for the doortrim and switch, rm50 each door. power window motor set,rm50-rm90 each door, i forgot...more n less la.hehe...then covered with leather super leather rm300 overall.

next thing im gonna do, mivec front bodyparts, rm700, skirting and rear bumper fibre duno yet. paint job 3.3k including interior and rims.its pearl 1 star...some say its kinda expensive, but judging by my past experience, sending to cheapest paint job, but not satisfied, better sent it to expensive one and satisfied. if got more money, mayb i wanna change the headlamps and taillamps too.....IF i got extra money.hehe.seats also i havent check....haih...too many things need to do...hopefully this project will grant satisfaction.... cool.gif

you can replace all spring to stock 1.3/1.5 spring, will give you the normal height ride back.
or if you want a bit more stiffness, then can use 1.6 spring.

Yes yes. But this gt wing needs to install properly. Or else, like mine, the mounting hole got tear backwards because of the wind force coming front front. Anyway, I sold it off for mugen style spoiler jor n close back those extra holes made by the wing.
