is it okay ah.. light foot , only few time hit hard on throttle.
speed around 80-90 ( follow speed limit ma)
just trip from kulim- penang can hit 110 BKE highway

Dude, I'm having the exact same problem now. The check engine light came on few weeks back, since I'm a noobie in this matter, I straight away went to Proton workshop & they said the MAP sensor is broken, well it is, so it was changed. But then tonight, while I was driving, suddenly the throttle went off and as soon as I stopped, the engine went off. Pissed off dude The check engine light came on again. Left it at home for a few hours, and then started the engine again, the sign didn't came up. What is the exact problem actually? Or this has been discussed earlier?

As for the brake light, I've no idea but I have the same thing going on too, light is still on while driving. What's the problem eh?

yesterday i was send my wira 1.5 mmc go for tuning due to underpower..foreman said the error code for o2 sensor was on..and he help me clear the code and ask me drive for few days and see..my question is,i thk the engine light will on if o2 sensor spoil..but my car engine light never on before and the foreman said my o2 sensor have problem..

yesterday after tuning,my car become smooth again...but today it become underpower again..any sifu here know wat's the root cause?

My brother's VDO had this problem before..it's because of the o2 sensor..car underpower..FC high..
Your mech already erased the code, you drive few days, if he check for the error code still got the o2 sensor problem..then it should be the o2 sensor..
For MMC, I'm not sure, I'm driving MMC, even the sensor faulty, it didnt show up also..

it light up before that.

but when i turn off engine, then on back, that light is gone.

I was pissed because I thought the problem I had before won't happen again, at least for a year ot two after I changed the MAP sensor, but then last night, I geleng kepala liao. Don't know what's the problem this time. AND along w the brake problem as well, my brake light is on even when I'm driving

while driving, the brake light kept on, maybe the brake fluid is low.

Huh.... brake light is prolly brake fluid low.... but the chk engine light hmmmmm hard to tell... can be anything. Any misfiring etc jerk jerk etc etc?

Depends also.... some shop maybe dun wan to do.... normally they will do.... Cost normally from RM300-500

If labour is 300-500, it seems like its cheaper if i bought the parts myself than use the parts from the workshop...

My brother's wira 1.6 auto got problem.. i quote "everytime" when in stationary and go to D gear not engage.. needs change to n, then D again rev a bit higher then it can run.. (sometimes it took 3 4 times gear change back and forth) until the car behind honking like crazy.. also got problem when stationary on steep hill.. On D the car will rollback.but when the cars start moving to next gear all functioning as it should.



recently he changed gearbox and the warranty had expired already then this problem came. checked the gear oil still red.. not burned smell... So i did some googling, reading here and there and come to a conclusion that this might not be the gearbox problem.. but a problem of the "Torque Converter". or maybe i'm wrong?

I saw at mudah, recondition torque converter is around rm300.. so how much will it cost for the installation.. anybody know??

Its the same thing with brake oil right? I've just got it changed three weeks ago.

When the check engine light comes on, that is when the jerking comes on as well. Either it jerks or the throttle just simply went ineffective. Step on the gas pedal, but no respond. Any similar problems like this you've encountered/heard before dude?

FYI Gearbox and Torque converter it is together.... normally Torque converter wears off will result like that. Last time why u change gearbox? any reason? I have Wira 1.6A and i replace halfcut gearbox past 4 years till now ok no problem.... i dun like recond unless i found a reliable recond shop. Mpost Recond shop dont do good job so after a year or 2 it will back to square ones.

This is my personal experience.

Replace torque converter + installation also 1k ++ so i rather replace another tranny.

I've got the MAP sensor changed two weeks ago, it was broken at that time, hence much more breakdowns at that time. But I didn't expect it to happen again now aiyoyo. My engine is the 4G15 iinm, three speed auto, correct?
