Same boring route?
If same efforts that Nokia put on WP being put on Meego, I doubt it'll be bad anyway :S

Meego came too late basically for whatever reasons. They should have released that on the N8. My fiancee(then my gf) was looking for a phone around Nov/Dec last year. Lost her Bold 2, so was looking for a replacement. Tried Iphone 4, SGS, Bold 3, and what have you.. worst one was the N8. It's just slow. Screen not so responsive. You turn the phone, but the screen doesn't rotate etc. She ended up with HTC Desire. Nokia was already so far behind back then.

Meego on the N9 to me is really good. Butter smooth. But like WebOS, they were too little too late. WP7 is a bit late to the game as well. But we'll see how things fare. Nokia is banking on Windows 8 integrating everything I guess.

Anyone with Anna could try installing the PSX emulator for symbian? Yeah i heard its lagging and all but just want a confirmation if Anna could run it or not.

Belle couldn't run it btw. File is here

http://depositfiles.com/files/ur20uvz4f

P/s : Not sure if i could post emulators here or not.. Will remove it if its against the rules.

Anyone with insider info on Symbian Belle updates? I've been anticipating that update for quite sometime. I've been scouting a lot of blogs & reviews on Belle but I've yet to see the official one being launched (or OTA in this manner). I won't put it as a let down however, the anticipation is a killer.

Blogging my experience with Belle though. Hahaha!!!

Hey guys, i just realize tht our N8 has the Flip to Silence Call function too! (same like HTC sense). For those N8 owners who still don't know, dont have to impressed by htc owner d~

Actually if you got time. u may browse through the "help" inside N8. all the details like flip the phone all in it.

Anyone notice the Nokia Sleeping Screen is now available on Nokia Store?

If anyone worry about sleeping screen using up batt, simply put the N8 face down and the display will turn off until you flip it back up again.

Nokia's fate is now tied to WP7. Winding down Symbian, no more Meego phone. If its WP7 phones flop Nokia is doomed but Microsoft will be fine.

I don't get why they keep hyping about their polycarbonate design, even on their Lumia 800. It's almost exactly the same as the N9

One part nokia is getting right, their new devices are smoother and more responsive.
Hardware wise, still neglecting the processor, microsd, hdmi, 12mp camera...

Unibody sells...

No, I don't think Nokia is getting the message. Even iPhone 4s is getting dual core. First of all, they need to stop telling us what is best for us. Simply sell one with dual core and then another with single core and that is what we called choice.

Secondly, I don't see why Nokia should sell their phone so expensive with outdated hardware. Well, it couldn't be help when you can't make calls with your 4/3 or DSLR... RIGHT?

That's what I don't understand. They are shooting themselves on the foot.
And they are supposed to come out with different wp7 phones compared to the rest. Can't see anything special from Lumia.

I have give up hope on NOKIA as they keep giving empty promises alwaysss.. That is the reason i jumped ship to droid.. This first time i jump ship from Nokia to Android as I were using Nokia phones since 1990..

Very sad to jump but no other choice avalailable besides that ,,,

have you guys seen the video for lumia?
I think Nokia going for Window 7 isn't that bad of an idea after all.

But I think if Symbian Anna or Belle came earlier, they don't need Window smile.gif

Right now its a bad idea given the lack of support for Windows Phone 7 in Malaysia. You can't purchase apps due to marketplace support issue unless you give false info on your current location.

I prepare to leave N8 if WP7 supports Malaysia 100%. 12MP not worth it if the slow performance drives me nuts.
