Speechless about Nokia, did they just freaking announce two leaked devices beforehand, with not much differentiation with other WP7 OEMs?

The two latest devices couldn't even win N8 in everything disregard of processor and Rams.. Nokia's gonna fail badly in two years time..shit Elop.

Same boring route?
If same efforts that Nokia put on WP being put on Meego, I doubt it'll be bad anyway :S

I use N8 mainly for
[1] Cameraaaaaa
[2] FM transmitaaaa
[3] GPS Navigataaaa

And yes..N8 vkb sux to the max...N9 have better vkb than N8
If you want overall performance (or in other word, use it as main phone), switch to N9 ...until nokia decides to give new touch on N8's vkb ...which is very unlkely laugh.gif
And yes..pray hard for FM transmitter app available on next N9 PR update hehe, heard FM transmitter hardware for N9 already there
*
hahaha thats the main three things why do i love n8 tongue.gif
loving its camera especially it's good to bring along for trip, and i can't live without fm transmitter since get used with n79 already smile.gif

i like n9's everything but at the same time its camera and nonexistence of fm transmitter hold me back ._.
Are you sure that n9 has transmitter hardware?how come i heard some ppl say no one?O.o

(crap,n79 browser suddenly close by its own and i had to retype ._.)

It seems N8 Successor (the 16MP phone) rumour is real,
I found this from Nokia Hong Kong branch's official blog (微博)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The guy was asking about the release date of 16MP phone - Nokia 801 as he claimed,
and the official Nokia blog replied "we still haven't confirmed with the release date yet"

Can we safely assume that we'll be seeing another beasty camera-phone next year?
Wonder what platform will it be hmm.gif

16MP?!? So powderful? 12MP on N8 is still great but I hope to see this 16MP phone camera can take 16:9 photos.
*
Still wondering is it true or not though, don't put ur hope too high tongue.gif

QUOTE(xaiemanx @ Oct 30 2011, 01:16 PM)
what is the phone model may i know? smile.gif
*
I'm not sure about that, I'm just sharing what I've seen D:

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Oct 30 2011, 02:08 PM)
Just for your info having big MP doesnt make the quality of the photo improve or better. What really matters is the software and sensor size
*
yup, I knew that long ago~ sweat.gif
I'm just trying to outline the 16MP part which matching the rumoured-16MP feature of N8 successor
Which being claimed to have xenon flash, led flash for video capturing, 16MP, and dual core processor

@aspire sifu,it's indeed drooling specs tongue.gif

and is it possible if mango able to run dual core? I thought only Apollo able to do so?
Belle also not bad actually,i prefer Belle flexibility over WP in certain factors lol

may I ask.. what's the colour of the casing when the surface colour peeled off? o.o
is it silver colour of black?

P.S: There's new (or old?) bronze colour of N8 recently getting official release from Nokia, why does Nokia keep on releasing new colours for N8 lol

Ahhh thanks for the comprehensive explanation, I think I could imagine it tongue.gif

That's why I don't believe in fresh rumours, but I hope that's not true, for the sake of Nokia's future.
*
Although I don't really like this.. but Nokia's future is now relying on microsoft;
next year would be releasing Apollo OS which supports dualcore, guess that they still able to sustain a bit in the competition :/

but oh please.. i want a true N8 successor >.>

What is there to like or dislike? I own no shares in Nokia nor know anybody working in Nokia so I have absolutely no emotional attachment to Nokia. As long as the phone fulfill my needs at the price I wanted, it does not bother me whether her future is with Microsoft or Macrohard.
*
Opps please don't misunderstood =x
What I meant was.. Nokia would really need to do well now ever since they announced to kill off their own platform
If they failed to appeal the market again this time, it's really really chaotic for Nokia to gain back market share anymore..

Urgh my English is really really bad, I really scare to interpret my opinion wrongly now -.-

Rather than that, it just open Nokia up for countless possibilities.

This is just the first step forward. Whether or not WP7 or WP8 deliver what Nokia want is unknown. They can end the alliance anytime and switch to Android or whatsoever open source.

Besides, given Nokia progress over the last 5 years, they have nothing to lose really. They will need to find the magic formulae to get customers to look at their offering again. Why did Samsung gain so much popularity with Android? They were nobody at one point. SE was damn popular with their P series and now what. Not many want to buy their smartphones.
True about opting for alternate famous OS, and that'll be the only way for Nokia to survive again since no one will trust them for inventing their own OS again doh.gif
But then again, opting for another famous OS that created by someone else .. just isn't too "Nokia" anymore
For me myself, I love Nokia because they have their own OS and everything else are also originated by them, the total Nokia-ish Nokia lol (Same as Apple, they got their own OS and everything that make them look exclusive and unique)

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Nov 11 2011, 07:52 PM)
One man's meat is another poison. Nokia in trouble means I can get my N8 dirt cheap. Where else can you find a great camera with free GPS everything for RM1000 brand new?

I love Nokia and I don't wish to see them fail sweat.gif

Actually WP is a very well built OS, too bad they have too much restriction over it =/
But me myself still liking symbian, maemo and meego, which are all originated and exclusively owned by Nokia =/

And dam agree with you about N9 design.. why are they boasting it for Lumia? -.-
Waffak..
