QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Oct 31 2011, 09:44 AM) I took lots of photo with my N8 and I can see the photos in the N8's photo gallery. But some of these photos are not shown when viewed using Desktop computer Window Explorer, hence unable to be transferred to Desktop computer. Any idea? Thanks I suspect, these photo's are at different location. use the phone to get the photo details, and then search using windows explorer for the file. |

But why would the N8 change the location of the photos just at it's own fancy? Doesn't it keep to a proper filing system like Mass memory/Images/Camera/...then with automatically generated folder going by dates like 201108, 201109,201110 etc. This is getting to be a pain in the neck. |

It does have proper filling except if you change it. Another way you can try is set your phone as mass storage and use your windows search to find your filename. This is getting to be a pain in the neck. Another way you can try is set your phone as mass storage and use your windows search to find your filename. I can connect my N8(Anna) to my PC using Bluetooth. Using PC's Window Explorer, I can see the N8. Click on the N8 and it shows:1. Mass Memory 2. Memory Card 3. Phone Memory Click on Mass Memory/Images/Camera/201110 and I can see a list of photos but many are missing. Those missing photos can however, be seen using the N8's default photo viewer so it's not really missing. So my question is, where are those missing photos stored in the N8? So far, the only way for me to transfer those 'missing photos"to my own PC is to view it using the default photo viewer and then send it by email to my own email address. Not exactly an efficient way of transferring so many photos. This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Oct 31 2011, 07:49 PM |

are u sure u r using mass storage mode? do u know which is pc suite mode? if in windows explorer shows n8 that means u r using pc suite mode. if in mass storage mode windows will treat the onboard storage and sd card just as another usb drive. only the onboard mass storage and sd card will show up.
my advice is try to connect using the cable. |

Like wat sifu quartzz said try using cable to connect. Then use window search to find the file name. Can i know what app did u use to take the photo?
If u use camerapro it save in another location If u use the default cam it will save at images/camera in your n8 connectivity select mass storage. Can you as well specify what type of photos are they? Screenshot ? Camera photos? This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Oct 31 2011, 09:21 PM |

So far only ifon/ipod & ipad having this wifi sync lor..but all your files need to be externally store at apple server & you will be using icloud to auto sync via wifi for sure. But how many of us wanna store our files in foreign country & not your own PC?
