Haha are you thinking the latest Apple ICLOUD app? So far only ifon/ipod & ipad having this wifi sync lor..but all your files need to be externally store at apple server & you will be using icloud to auto sync via wifi for sure. But how many of us wanna store our files in foreign country & not your own PC?

Hmnn isn't it easier using BT file trf? If PC dun hv a BT dongle, just buy one super cheap at RM15-RM19 only haha
QUOTE(WhatMan @ Nov 1 2011, 08:48 AM) No I'm not referring to iCloud, just normal direct wifi sync. If app like Dukto can easily establish connection to N8 for file transfer, I don't see why it should be difficult for Nokia to enable wifi sync. Beats the hassle of connecting cable. Added on November 1, 2011, 10:37 amHmnnn N8 can read a similar 8GB SDHC card why not 16GB? If I'm not mistaken the N8 specs can read up to 16GB or even 32GB QUOTE(ToddStarz @ Nov 1 2011, 08:07 AM) This post has been edited by stimix: Nov 1 2011, 10:37 AM |

Yeah facing the same problem after belle. Just installed Belle Y'day midnite haha. So still playing wth it. Some apps gone but can be installed easily once logged in to ovistore & check back history of installed apps. Certain apps still there but can't be opened for eg Opera mobile. Anyway, I stopped using that anymore
I like the new camera UI. but not sure about quality. Have yet to try out camera.. still lotsa things to plasy..and also luv the pull down menu on top window but hate when I can't click on the battery icon as u said. Still palying and discovering haha..and atleast belle giving new life to dying N8..almsot wanted to switch camp to either Ifon 4s or samsung S2 liao haha..As these 2 are the closest to N8 cam quality although still not as goodt QUOTE(Eoma @ Feb 8 2012, 06:14 PM) Noob question guys: How do we check the battery life without using the Nokia Battery Monitor app ? Previously, you can touch the battery icon and get the info from there, but now with Belle, when you touch the top part, the notification bar pops out for a bit (unless you slide all the way down of course). |

Some of those apps are not lost after installing belle. the icon is still there wth a red "X" on top right of the icon. just click on to restart and it will appear back. Thereafter just edit/add those missing apps your home screen and now we can even add xtra 2 more haha..
Well..some apps do lost or not working haha.. My angry bird gone, carrom gone & so do opera. Anyway, what I did iwas, logging into my ovistore and check bck my past download history and those missing apps, I just re-install. |

Abit over-exposed esp you're facing strong sunlight in front of the cam. I alway avoid strong sunlight in front of N8.. for sure result is bad
Added on February 19, 2012, 12:03 pmBTW, add another 2 flowers taken an hour ago haha ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 19 2012, 12:03 PM |

redevil off-focus & over-exposed liao. Good lighthing & steady hand and wind condition play an important role esp outdoor shooting..otherwise, all out of focus, over-exposed & etc.

This is the part I suspected him using macro filter haha. bcos ni matter how I try to get closer, the best is ~ 7-10cm away. Imposible to be 2cm away from object unless wth close up filter...But I hv yet to try digital zoom-in yet haha
QUOTE(ali3 @ Feb 21 2012, 12:02 AM) how do you take this pictures? i only can get about 8 - 10 cm to the object in macro mode with the box for focus staying green. when i go closer the box gets red and the object getsĀ blurred =( Added on February 21, 2012, 7:10 amFor S3 to anna..the % of jump maybe ~ 20% only but from anna to bella, it's a quantum leap..I can say almost 70% ...It's totally diff from symbian. QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Feb 21 2012, 07:04 AM) I started off with Symbian 3 and now on Anna. It was a great jump in performance. This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 21 2012, 08:49 AMDoes going from Anna to Belle having similar performance gain? |

Wth bella, I hv no problem using quickoffice. Nothing wrong wth it and so do the pdf -adobe reader -still there and the same
For the camera, the user interface (UI) actually much better and entirely new. This is another quantum leap & I like it compare to anna & older S3. On Quality, I can't really tell bcos to me..the old & new also same only haha |

Yeah just tested moment ago..On max zoom, the in-focus (Green box) achieving ~ 9cm from object and if I zoom out to normal posistion, the in-focus point stood ~12cm.
Good idea haha..later I post my findings...Now I know aspire tactic liao..MAX zooming..Later I maz zoom-in +macro len..fuuuuu..I think 2cm also can liao... Anyway of aspire claim can get till 2-3cm..hmnnn still far wor..The best I can get till the "Green Box" prompted is ~ 8cm. This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 21 2012, 09:06 AM |

I don't think so..Anyway on a digicam and even my NEX5N, I also dun use this feature haha
1.OK..this was taken without zooming..The best ~ 12cm away ![]() 2. Max zooming and the in-focus point reduced to ~ 8-9cm ![]() Haha..really noob to the max Added on February 21, 2012, 9:19 amCan share it here mah..Not everyone free going gathering QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 21 2012, 09:14 AM) Haha come for future gathering will share it with you. Learn and understand the rules first then later you can bend the rules as you like. If you follow the rules you will many limitations. Since update to belle taking as close as 2 to 3 cm is a challenge while in pr 1.2 it's a breeze This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 21 2012, 09:19 AM |
