First of all does the androidmeda kernel even support GPU UV. I know only Siyah and Tegrak kernel support GPU UV.

There is no real need to register warranty, as long as you still keep the original receipt, then everything is OK. Even my lens of my DSLR, just showed receipt and they fixed it up. Only stuff like extended warranty for laptops need to register I think...Also, I think they see how many phones have been sold by the warranty registration, otherwise the phones are considered shipped to them, not sold yet, then when you register it, then they know that they just sold 1 more unit...

Well yeah in a way, cos the CF kernel in Checkrom will flash over the speedmod and you have to flash it again. Always rom first then kernel. Also advice to do a clean wipe manually because it is not a wipe rom. Yes you need USB debugging tick for TB to work.

Wow, I had a really bad experience. Camera wasn't working, Market crashes every time, battery life was horrible! And data kept going on and off as it liked, sometimes it wouldn't even come on after i unlocked my phone (using JuiceDefender).

Pros - Fast and smooth experience. Nothing is broken that I can tell. Boot screen is pretty Everything works and the battery life has been wonderful. Whatsapp and browsing and facebooking for ~3 hours added up and only drained ~20% of battery life (including idle time) after first calibration. So that's about -~25% battery life since 12pm today. Includes SetCPU but I don't use it.

Cons - Stock camera app that has limits. Lack of documentation and themes.

Overall, I like this rom more than VR except for the camera

Actually your correct but no harm in registering. Even after registering the samsung guy still ask me to bring receipt whenever go claim warranty.

Flashing kernel not really required to wipe.

Just make sure you bring your original buying receipt when you visit service centre :-)

Never used tegrak before. But with siyah kernel we can change the GPU clock and voltage with init.d scripts or Voltage Control app.

Hehe yeah, forgot to add that the voltage control app GPU control only works on siyah kernel. Just like tegrak for lulz kernel. Maybe the androidmeda rom got some scripts that can change the gpu voltage. Try asking in rom thread on xda.
