Edit: Actually if you got UV problem, just flash speedmod kernel in CWM. Kernel does not support UV so any script or setting you make to UV will be useless and device will start normal.

just tried ondemandx governor, receive 2 whatsapp messages while in sleep mode, whole phone just froze, had to reboot it myself i guess the best governor for me is still ondemand, decent battery n performance

Is it just me or is logcat buggered up in Siyah 2.1rc2? Yes I've flashed the init.d script to enable it, but it's still somewhat weird. There's zero output in catlog too.

Applocker is functioning funny as a result.

Manual insmodding logger.ko results in system telling me it's already there. Hmmmmmmmm.

Added on October 31, 2011, 8:50 amIf your SGS2 is i9100 and NOT i9100G then you can flash any other version of i9100 rom. Yes technically it will void warranty. Will samsung care, from people's experience, it seems no.

im on siyahkernel 2.0, still waiting for final version of 2.1 to be released. smartassv2 and ondemand gives me good battery life and performance, other governors not so good, some like ondemandx, hangs my device.

Edit: Reinstalled app locker. Working fine now. Funneh.

Catlog is still empty though. Prolly needs to reinstall as well (edit 2: yep that fixed it).

It's already V15 and I can't keep up of reading the whole posts. So yeah it's my first posting in SGSII thread and barely a user of 2 weeks.

Basically i just wanna share my experience with SGS II as I got problem with charging the phone. But if your phone have "Battery disconnected" notification during charging, better go to Samsung Service center for phone's cable replacement. FOC as long as it's under warranty of course. It took me 1 week to get my phone back. Sorry if this has been discussed before
